"She's seriously insensitive."

Minotaur hummed at Gusion's statement, looking down at him accusingly, "Look who's talking."

They both arrive at the mid lane. Gusion threw out five of his daggers and retrieved them, clearing the minion wave quickly. Gusion grinned at the golden numbers showing the amount of gold he received from that wave, "I got a lot from that."

"Focus," Minotaur adviced, giving the assassin a light shove on the back. "We can't afford to lose anyone this early."

Quietly, they both sneak into the bush parallel to the crab, peaking out to see who they'd be dealing with.

"Are you okay, Harith?" the fortress titan asked, examining their mage for any injuries. Harith chuckled, nodding at Grock with a wide grin on his face, "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Don't be so carefree at this moment, Harith," Hayabusa said as he guiltily eyed the blue spots on Kagura's body. Harith had gotten her all over with his chrono dash.

Kagura took this moment as a chance and threw her umbrella out, but Harith's ears were sensitive enough, and he was able to dash away from it. "Haha, you can't catch me!"

A smile appeared on the onmyoji master's face. "Shogyo mujo!" Kagura waved her hand. Pink light shot out from the umbrella and engulfed the three's torsos. Hayabusa used his shadow to get away from the umbrella, leaving both Harith and Grock who were still linked to it.

"I-I'm not allowed to dash yet!" Harith cried, trying as hard as he could to run from the spirits' grasp. Grock threw a wall between them and the umbrella, and the two of them sighed in relief.

Fwoosh!

"Wait," Harith mumbled, "wasn't the wall behind us?"

"It was," Tigreal's deep voice made Harith shudder, "but fortunately, you were pulled back. You should study more about other heroes when we get back to the Moniyan empire, Harith."

"I'm sorry," Grock apologized to the feline, "I didn't mean to put us in more danger. ."

"Aw, buddy," a voice from the bush cooed, "don't be sorry—this is exactly the situation we needed."

In a flash, Gusion appeared beside Grock, holding the dagger that was stuck in between the rocks of the titan's arms.

"Flicker," Minotaur muttered and used minoan fury, bashing the ground with his hammer, causing the two from the opposing team to be knocked up by the force. The other tank slowly walked towards them, patting Harith's head before he proceeded with his implosion, the ground and his sword worked together to pull them to where he was.

"Break," Gusion breathed, throwing out five of his blades and, in a flash of light, teleported next to Harith, "the limits!"

"Double kill!"

"Kagura, retreat back to base," Tigreal said, "Fanny will be clearing mid lane, and the three of us will take care of the turtle."

"An ally has slain the turtle!"

The ground shook, ancient symbols appeared with a cyan glow and circled around Gusion's feet. The bloodlust in the assassin's eyes became more noticeable, Gusion smirked at this powerful feeling.

"Reset lanes for now. Assassins, take your buffs," Tigreal instructed, "Beware of any possible ambushes from the enemy, request backup when neede—"

"Requesting back up at the top jungle!"

"Fanny," Minotaur uttered, "It's been two minutes and fifty seconds, she doesn't have her buff and she's getting ganked."

"How many are there?" Tigreal questioned. The three of them immediately ran to Fanny's location, planning the backup's response.

Meanwhile, the said assassin peeked out from the bush, observing the situation. Fanny had heard footsteps right as she was about to attack the rune monsters, and without the blue buff, she was forced to retreat. She couldn't risk dying at this moment, for she wouldn't have the buff later on.

Grock and Harith were attacking the buff while Diggie was on lookout, tossing his handcrafted bombs into nearby bushes. The support started hopping to Fanny's direction to throw one into the bush she was in, but stopped when Harith suddenly squeaked.

"There are four of them," Harith said as his ears twitched, "One in that bush and the other three are approaching. We should go, now!"

"I don't think so," Gusion sang, his dagger being twirled around on his finger as he sat on top of the vine covered wall. "Enemy. . rampage."

Tigreal came out of the bush, pushing the Leonin to the wall and easily knocking him up. Grock, who was immune to the crowd control, swung the tower he held, hitting Tigreal and making him unconscious.

This clash gave Fanny the chance to fly in, and without a sweat, killed Harith on the spot. "Time is science! Hurry!" Diggie shouted, scurrying off with Grock.

"Sorry," Gusion snickered, "time was never on your side for this mat—agh!"

Grock charged to the wall, dealing a huge amount of damage to Gusion and leaving him as he fell to the ground, stunned. They both took this as a chance to escape, but Minotaur jumped in front of them, blocking the way.

"I appreciate what you did to Gusion, Grock," Fanny landed on the said tank's back and pressed the blades of her sword against his neck. "But unfortunately, I can't let enemies escape."

"Triple kill!"

Fanny sighed and shook her head at the man sitting on the ground with his face in his hands. "That's what you get for acting all high and mighty, you cocky bastard."

"I can't believe you saw that," Gusion groaned, looking at Fanny grumpily. "Whatever, I'm recalling back to base."

Fanny grabbed his arm and pulled him up, earning a cheesy grin from the male, "Ooh, are you really that worrie—oof!"

"Shut up, you creep," Fanny snarled at him, swinging Tigreal's left arm over her shoulder. "You'll be helping me with this big guy, don't make any assumptions."

"I'm gonna stay and help Kagura," Minotaur said, "You three go and heal, we can't have you three fight in that condition."

"Of course!" Fanny grinned and waved goodbye to Mino, ignoring the glare being sent by Gusion.

The two sat Tigreal on the ground, "You two go ahead, I'm gonna have a few more seconds of rest here."

"Sure thing, brother," Fanny started running to the top lane, her hands on her gears' triggers, ready to use her cables. A hand grabbed her wrist, making her look back, which she regret doing, "Ugh, what do you want?"

"Talk to me," Gusion said sternly, "I need to talk to you, please?"

Fanny raised her eyebrow, expecting Gusion to tease her again. She hesitated for a moment, but after studying his cerulean eyes, she could see that he was serious. "Fine, just hurry though."

Gusion pulled her to the core of the base, sitting on the stone craft that was beneath the gigantic amethyst gem.

"What happened to you?"

Fanny hummed, "What do you mean?"

"You almost collapsed earlier, right at the beginning of the game," Gusion interrogated. "I think something's wrong with you."

"Wow," Fanny snorted, taking his statement as an insult. "That's a pretty sudden slur, and I actually thought that you could be serious even for just a short momen—"

"I am serious," Gusion retorted, cutting her off. "Out of all the heroes I've fought with and against, you're the only one who has that problem."

"What exactly are you implying, Gusion?" Fanny asked him impatiently. His words were already getting into her nerves.

"I don't think you belong here, in this world."

BTW, these moments where the characters stop following the game and stop to do something of their own will—like Gusion's conversation with Fanny—it's lag to whoever's playing the game, who is in this case, Du Zhen Xiong (Zxuan).
