Hotel Moore
Currently, Amy & the music director were witnessing a heated negotiation between the two stars. One was the shy devil & the other was a monster under the veil of an angel. Zach's mangar had used up all her tricks into convincing Alice to come to their studio. But, Alice was clever to use her head injury as a measure.
"It's really troublesome for me to travel with my injury", Alice said with her so-called guilt.
"Rest assured. You would be taken care of", the middle-aged lady kept up her arguments.
"Care is not what I need. Getting good rest is important. My agency's studio is nearer to my home."
"Are you implying that you want us to record at your agency's studio?"
"No, I'll record my part if you send me the lyrics. I can send you the recorded song later", Alice had no intention to interact with this pig-headed guy. She'd to find ways to avoid him.
"Do as she says", Zach said with a hint of mockery. He knew the girl well. At least, she knew to play her arrogant part well around him. She never considered him of her level. And, so he was back in a rather impressive way.
But, Alice didn't bat an eyelid. She stood up, "Then, the deal is done. If nothing, else I'll take my leave."
His manager was rather surprised but she managed a nod. Zach was more than amused. When the girl entered, she had shot him a dirty look. During the entire conversation, she didn't even spare him a glance. Never mind, the trump card was now in his hands.
His manager's words pulled him back from his thoughts, "Why'd you let her go that easily?"
"It's too early!", he stood up, straightened his shirt & walked towards the entrance. The manager could only follow behind him. The music director was rather speechless.

Amnesty Entertainment
Meanwhile, Alice went to report everything to Daniel. His brows creased in frustration. But, he was rather pleased by her way of dealing with things, "But, you managed it well."
"Yeah! If he goes overboard, I've my own ways."
Daniel smirked when he understood what those 'ways' meant.
"Well...", he continued, "Let Amy stay with you."
Amy, who was standing outside was a bit surprised. Her journey from the rags to the agency & now to a famous star's assistant was overwhelming to her. She even got to stay with her Madam!
"Sure. No problem", Alice was bored of leaving alone.
Just then, a phone call interrupted their conversation.

Adley Mansion
The maid rushed in & said to the woman, "Young Master agreed to bring Young Madam."
Papa Adley smiled, "Good!"
"Dear...", the woman spoke, "I want to cook for them today."
"Sure. Go ahead."
...
Alice & Daniel had left Amy at the Pink Villa before they drove in here. Papa Adley was already seated in the living room when they entered. A nice aroma hit their olfactory senses when they entered into the living room. The woman, wearing an apron called from behind the kitchen counter, "It's good that you came. I'm cooking dinner tonight." Then she flashed a bright smile.
Looking at her gave chills to Alice. She would never get used to this woman.
...
Half an hour later
The trio was seated on the dining table when that woman served them the dishes. Then, she sat opposite Alice, watching her closely. They began with a bowl of soup. Amidst eating, Alice suddenly winced in pain. Daniel glanced at her, "What's wrong?"
"My stomach hurts!", Alice spoke & she fainted head on.
That woman smirked before she made a call. After she hung up, she said, "Doctor Shen would be here any moment."
Daniel nodded & quickly rushed her in Eddie's room. A commotion could be heard downstairs indicating that Doctor Shen had arrived. As soon as he reached the door, Doctor Shen entered the room. For a quite while, he checked the girl. Finally, he pulled out a stethoscope & examined her heartbeat.
"Food poisoning", the doctor concluded.
"How so?", the woman called out, "I cooked the dinner myself today."
Daniel cast a glare on her, but she maintained her cool. Her thoughts ran back to what she did an hour ago.
...
The woman stirred the soup as she glanced at the trio sitting in the living room. After that, she distributed the soup into bowls. In the last bowl, she mixed some powder & stirred it well. That was what she had served Alice!
...
A faint smile played upon her lips. She thought, "I'm sorry I'd to do this for you."
