A Granddaughter's Strength

"Amazing, you're already this powerful and you're still just a teenager." Ryūsei happily said. "Thanks" Catherine happily replied.

"Meteor Dragon Photon Fist!!!!" Ryūsei then casted a spell gathering a tremendous amount of Meteor Dragon energy in his right hand.

He then quickly dashes forward launching an assault on Catherine.

"Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Sonata" Catherine then casted a spell Catherine's hand was then covered with a blackish aura.

Catherine then launches an assault on Ryūsei. The two attacks collided and the impact of the two spells created a tremendous force knocking everyone back.

"Men!!! These two are powerhouses no doubt!!!!" Kasai stated as he couldn't believe what's happening.

"The collision of the two attacks was so strong.... I thought I was gonna die from the impact." Shadow stated.

Ryūsei and Catherine were both on the ground. And both of them slowly try to get up.

"You really are strong, I haven't been in this situation since the Moyasu Gang incident." Ryūsei stated as he slowly gets up.

"Thanks, I can't believe you were this strong even as a teenager, Dad and Mom only told me stories about you and grandma." Catherine replied.

"But seeing you took on my Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Sonata in Fox form...

It's just incredible." She added as she also slowly gets up.

"Thanks, But this fight isn't over yet" Ryūsei replied.

"Meteor Dragon Photon Blade" Ryūsei casted a spell and a sword made of Meteor Dragon energy suddenly appeared on his hand.

"Looks like I have to use this spell, Darn what a bummer I was saving this as a trump card for the Grand Shōtotsu." Ryūsei muttered before he then throws his sword at Catherine.

"Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Synergy (Fox)" Catherine then casted a spell and a mysterious aura then surrounded her creating a fox like figure.

The tail behind Catherine's back made of the mysterious blackish aura caught the sword that Ryūsei just threw.

Everyone was shocked and speechless and others were still trying to process what just happened.

"What is he doing???" Shizen muttered in concern.

"He's too reckless... Even though they're sparring right now.... He could've hurt Catherine" Yuki muttered.

"Ryūsei!!!! It's a sparring match not a fight to the death!!!" Kayosha yelled.

"Not a fight to the death" Ryūsei muttered sarcastically but unfortunately Kayosha heard that.

"I heard that!!!" Kayosha yelled.

As the others continue to scold Ryūsei for being a bit reckless, Catherine on the other hand was thinking of what Ryūsei is trying to do.

"Meteor Dragon Photon Switch!!!" Ryūsei casted a spell, Ryūsei and the photon blade Catherine's holding switch places with Ryūsei.

"What the?!!!" Catherine muttered as she was shock that Ryūsei was in front of her.

"Meteor Dragon Photon Fist!!!!" Ryūsei then casted a spell gathering a tremendous amount of Meteor Dragon energy in his right hand.

Ryūsei assault then hits Catherine and knocks him back and Ryūsei marked her during the impact.

Everyone was shocked and speechless on what just happened. They'd never expect that Ryūsei was that fast.

"What the?!!!" Shizen muttered as it was hard to believe what he just witnessed.

"What just happened!!!" Kasai muttered as he was still trying to process what just happened.

"Ryūsei's..... fast..." Yuki muttered.

"Did he just teleport??" Sora asked as she was confused, It just happened instantly and it was to quick to see it clearly.

"Looks like someone isn't slacking off from his training" Kayosha teased.

"Was that... Meteor Dragon Switch.." Catherine muttered as she gets up with her hand on her head.

"You're strong Catherine, I'm proud of you." Ryūsei happily said.

"Thanks grandpa, I guess it runs in the family..." Catherine happily replied.

"But still I'm no where near as strong as Mom and I'm a pipsqueak compared to Dad...." Catherine added.

"Looks like they raised you well" Ryūsei happily said.

"Yeah, now then let's get back to where we left off" Catherine happily replied as she gets up from the ground.

"Meteor Dragon Impact!!!" Ryūsei casted a spell and a barrage of Meteor Dragon energy was released from his fingers and is heading straight for Catherine.

"Eclipse Dragon Melodious Impact!!!!" Catherine casted a spell and a barrage of Eclipse Dragon energy was released and is headed straight for the barrage of Meteor Dragon energy.

The two spells collided and both spells are equally powerful.

"Meteor Dragon Photon Switch!!!" Ryūsei casted a spell and Ryūsei quickly teleported in front of Catherine.

"He's fast-" Catherine thought as she was surprised that Ryūsei was instantly in front of her.

"Meteor Dragon Photon Assault!!!!" Ryūsei casted a spell and a mysterious white aura surrounded Ryūsei enchanting his physical ability.

Ryūsei then kicks Catherine luckily Catherine manages to block the attack but she was still knocked back to the ground.

"He must've mark me when the first time he landed a punch...."

"Even in fox mode I'm still no much for grandpa"

Catherine quickly gets up and she then quickly casted a spell.

"Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Blade!!!!" Catherine casted a spell and a sword made of Eclipse Dragon energy suddenly appeared in her hand.

Catherine then quickly launches an assault on Ryūsei.

"Meteor Dragon Photon Blade" Ryūsei casted a spell and a sword made of Meteor Dragon energy appeared in his hand.

Ryūsei then quickly launches an assault on Catherine. The two blades clash as one tries to attack as one blocks, The noise of there blades colliding one another was heard.

"I'm impressed, Ryūsei and Catherine's swordsmanship are off the charts." Ryūshi stated shocking everyone.

"Indeed" Jikan replied.

Ryūsei then kicks Catherine and knocks her back a bit.

"Meteor Dragon Impact!!!" Ryūsei casted a spell and a barrage of Meteor Dragon energy is heading straight to Catherine.

"Eclipse Dragon Melodious Impact!!!" Catherine casted a spell and a barrage of Eclipse Dragon energy is heading straight for Ryūsei.

The two spells collide and like before they're both equally powerful.

"Meteor Dragon Switch!!!" Ryūsei casted a spell and he then teleports in front of Catherine.

"Meteor Dragon Photon Fist!!!" Ryūsei then casted a spell gathering a tremendous amount of Meteor Dragon energy in his right hand.

"Not this time grandpa" Catherine happily said as she expected Ryūsei to pull the same trick twice.

"Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Sonata!!!" Catherine then casted a spell Catherine's hand was then covered with a blackish aura.

As their fist clashed the collision from their spells boosted by the enchantment and the mysterious aura the collision created a shockwave so devastating even the ground beneath them crumbled.

"She's going to grow up to be a powerful Elementalist." Yuki happily said as she was proud of Catherine.

Ryūsei was knocked up into the air from the collision of the two spells while Catherine was knocked to the ground.

"Meteor Dragon Photon Switch" Ryūsei casted a spell and he quickly teleported above Catherine.

"Meteor Dragon Photon Ray!!!" Ryūsei casted a spell and he then released a tremendous blast made of Meteor Dragon energy above Catherine and was about to hit Catherine.

"If only I could mo-" Catherine muttered as she tries to move but unfortunately she couldn't move anymore.

The tremendous blast then hits something creating an explosion and release a tremendous amount of light along with the intense shockwave.

"Catherine!!!!!!" Everyone yelled as they were blinded by the tremendous amount of light.

"Ryūsei might overdone it now!!!" Shizen yelled.

"I swear if he kills Catherine he's in big trouble!!!" Yuki yelled.

As the explosion occurred, After a while the explosion disappeared along with the light. The explosion left behind a massive crater with Catherine at the center of the crater.

"Catherine!!!!" Yuki yelled as she quickly approaches the massive crater while the others approaches Ryūsei.

"Ryūsei!!!! You have done it now!!!!" Shizen yelled.

"Killing your own granddaughter!!!! How could you!!!" Kasai scolded.

"What are you guys talking about??!!!" Ryūsei confusedly asked as he was confused on what they were talking about.

"Catherine's alive" He added after realizing what they were trying to say.

"No one could have survived being hit by a spell that intense" Sora replied.

"You guys didn't saw it but I did" Ryūsei stated as he tries to explain what happened.

"The moment before my spell hit her she focused all her energy around her body and transfered it all to her tail." Ryūsei stated.

"Her.....tail...." Everyone said in unison with a confused look on there face.

"Her Elemental Art is an extremely rare one indeed but that spell of her is extraordinary" Ryūsei added.

"Basically she transferred the energy throughout her body into her tail and the tail was the one who blocked the blast." Ryūsei exclaimed.

Catherine then jumps up and lands near Ryūsei and the others but do to Catherine's injuries she falls to the ground.

"Ouch....." She muttered as her injuries were indeed painful.

"Catherine!!!" Yuki then hugs Catherine as tears pour into her eyes.

"Grandma Yuki....." Catherine muttered as she was shocked.

"I'm sorry.... I was just worried you could've gotten yourself killed...." Yuki replied as she hugs tighter.

"I'm sorry grandma...." Catherine muttered as she hugs back.

"It isn't your fault...." Yuki replied.

"It's your irresponsible grandfather's fault!!!" Yuki yelled glaring at Ryūsei.

"Hey!!!! How was this my fault!!! How was I supposed to know-" Ryūsei yelled before being interrupted.

"You could've hold back!!!!" Shizen and Shadow said in unison as they pointed the massive crater Ryūsei created.

"Kayosha... Sora... You're on my side aren't you..." Ryūsei muttered as he looks at them

"Well, you could've hold back a little, I mean that spell was just a little too intense." Sora replied.

"Kayosha...." Ryūsei muttered.

"Your granddaughter could've gotten killed" Kayosha replied leaving Ryūsei speechless.

"Face it Ryūsei, Everyone here is against you." Kasai teased.

"As punishment, Ryūsei clean up the messed you made and fix the training field." Yuki stated.

"That's so unfair!!!!" Ryūsei replied.

"Well since the little spar is how about we go get something to eat." Ryūshi suggested.

"Yeah I'm kinda getting a little hungry...." Catherine happily said.

"Well after your grandfather fixes the messed he made, We'll go out and eat." Yuki replied.

Ryūshi then casted a spell and the entire training field was instantly fixed. Everyone was shocked on what just happened except for Ryūsei, Jikan and Catherine.

"Thanks Ryūshi!!! Now we can eat!!!!" Ryūsei happily said as he was like about to celebrate.

"One problem though.... Catherine is too injured to walk" Shizen pointed out.

"No, it's alright I can walk!!!" Catherine tries to get up but due to her injuries she just falls to the ground and Ryūsei and the others gathered around Catherine.

"Looks like your to injured to walk" Yuki concernly said and both Kasai and Shadow scolded him for some reason.

"It's okay.... Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Restoration" Catherine then casted a mysterious blackish aura covered Catherine's entire body and her injuries then slowly healed.

"Amazing" Ryūsei happily stated.

"Thanks, it's a spell I learned from reading my grandma's spell book." Catherine happily replied.

"So where is your grandma???" Ryūsei asked.

"Like you grandpa..... grandma is no longer in the Elemental World...." Catherine replied but this time with a sadder tone.

"Well let's go eat as a family then, If they're not around in the future... then let's go eat together right now at least that memory would continue to go on" Shizen happily said and the others rejoiced.

"Chicken nuggets here we come!!!" Kasai and Shadow happily said in unison
