Sun Jian's army and Liu Yao's army battle at Geyang began to intensify, Sun Jian fearing that his army was already too tired to face off against the fresh Liu Yao's reinforcement army, called for Sun Ce's army to join him at Geyang.

Sun Ce's arrival strengthened Sun Jian's army, allowing Sun Jian to push back Liu Yao's army out of Geyang, Liu Yao at this time began to realize that his army was truly weak and could only contend with Sheng Xian outside of that his army was squashed easily.

Liu Yao retreats from Geyang, allowing Sun Jian and Sun Ce to finally control Geyang. Liu Yao retreated to Yangdu, fortifying his defenses in Yangdu and collecting supplies as much as he could there.

After controlling Geyang, Sun Ce and Sun Jian together consolidated the Sun Clan's power in Geyang, after the Sun Clan consolidated Geyang they planned to attack Yangdu, and force out Liu Yao from there.

All of this happens at the end year of 193, so Sun Jian decides to hold off the attack after consolidating his power at Geyang, allowing his army to have a New Year party, and even drinking some wine.

With entering a new year 194, far from the battle at Yang Province, in Xiapi Lie Fan is celebrating the new year with his family having additional family members, and having a new year's lunch together.

Lie Fan planned that after celebrating the new year with his family, he would go back to the frontline and begin to prepare to attack Liu Yao's domain again, with the purpose of ending the battle this year.

While Lie Fan is heading toward Guangling, his expedition group far away in Taiwan has managed to expand the land under their control and have contact with the aboriginal people there.

It turns out just like Yang Hong and Yan Jun are afraid of, the tribe that they have encountered beforehand Tono is a large tribe more like large clansmen that is branched into many tribes of different sizes.

Their system is more like the Nanman Tribes in Yi Province, almost the same but the strongest tribe is the leader of the Clan and the leader of that tribe is correlated as the King of the Clan.

Just like them, the smaller tribes also squabbled among themselves and even absorbed other tribes into their tribe, upholding the survival of the fittest amongst the tribes of the Clan, as long as they adhered to the rule of the strongest tribe.

They managed to gather all of this knowledge after learning the language of the aboriginals step by step and establishing contact and good relations with the aboriginals that they captured.

Utilizing the help of the prisoners turned into allies aboriginals, Yang Hong and Yan Jun told Li Feng and Ling Cao to capture the smaller tribes around their area and turn them into their allies.

This is the policy that Lie Fan told them to do before leaving for Taiwan, if there are any aboriginal people that live there, they should absorb them into their rule and incorporate them into the settlement.

This allowed them to have more people who lived there and have farmers that were separate from the soldiers who did farming for the army supplies, allowing them to stockpile some supplies for future settlers.

The Tono Clan tribesmen were also introduced to the culture and way of life of the mainland. Lie Fan advised Yang Hong and Yan Jun to do this because it would help them incorporate the Tono Clan tribesmen to have the same ideology as them reducing the chance of a revolt in the future.

The Tono Tribesmen at first disliked and even outright refused the teaching from Yang Hong and Yan Jun, but after seeing how easy some of the things they do with the help of advanced tools such as farming they slowly accepted the teaching.

The New Year's celebration hooked the Tono Tribesmen, who ate many foods and drank wines and beers that they tasted for the first time. The children of the Tono Tribesmen also loved the games that were introduced to them.
