Chapter 5

Ashewell ran home but not in a fast past. It was between a jog and a sprint. Ashewell past by many people and were attracting their attention. After 40 minute, Ashewell reach his home. He knock on the door but no answer. "Guess mom is not back yet." Ashewell said. Ashewell unlock the door using the house card. Ashewell went inside to change. Ashewell click the badge and his Lagoon uniform retract. He is back to his original uniform. "I need to change quickly and go help mom." Ashewell said and change into a plain set of cloth. Ashewell finish change after 5 minute and decide to run to her mom work in order to help her. "So this is where she. Living in such a poor place. After her again." Erin said. Ashewell ran for about 10 minute before reaching the place where her mom work at. She work as a janitor for the Drake company near them. Ashewell reach the place and was greet warmly by the other workers. "Here to help your mom again Ashewell?" A man in his mid 30s ask. "Yeah! And where is she now?" Ashewell ask. "She is in the reactor room." A woman in her later 30s reply. "Thanks!" Ashewell thank them and went to the reactor room. "Does she work here?" Erin ask her uncle.

"I am not sure but why don't we go check it out." Her uncle said. "I know that already." Erin retort and got off the car. The staffs saw Erin and immediate went to greet her. In a room full of people of what seem to be an important meeting. "So what do you think we should do in order to loosen the stress on the lower part of the v10NEO suit?" The boss ask the other here. "We can try to reduce the naro ekcrone used." One man suggest this. "Or we can completely remove all of the naro ekcrone." Another on suggest this. *Slam* The door was slam open that it startle everyone in the meeting room. "Boss!" A man in his early 30s said while panting. "What? Did I not make it clear that no one should disturb the meeting?" The boss said angrily. "Young miss Erin is here!" The man said in one breath. Everyone within the meeting heard this and just look at the man. Another man soon arrive and was also out of breath. "Boss! Young miss Erin is here!" He said. Everyone heard the same thing again and began to panic.

"Shit! If young miss Erin is here then we got to go greet her. This meeting can wait." A man in his late 50s said and rush out. The other follow suit. The boss did not believe what he was heard and decide to follow just in case. This company here is in a poor area and there is no way for a Drake family to visit it personally. "Greeting to young miss Erin!" All of the staffs saw Erin enter and greet her. The 7 manager arrive and saw that Erin is really here. "Greeting to young miss Erin!" They all said in unison. Erin just ignore them. "Where is your boss?" Erin ask. "He should be here soon. Please take a seat first!" A female staff said and grab a chair for Erin to sit. Erin sit and wait for the boss to come. After 10 second, the boss arrive and saw that Erin really is here. He panic and pick up his pace to go greet Erin. "I apologize for my late arrival." He apologize to Erin. "Give me the list of all your worker." Erin said. "Ah! Yes yes right away!" He ran to his office and search through his desk and found it within 30 second. He rush back and give Erin the list of the worker.

Erin look through the list of worker but did not find Ashewell name. "Did you not have any one name Ashewell?" Erin ask. "Ashewell? Are you talking about Gila son Ashewell?" He ask. "Maybe. Call her here to meet me." Erin said. "Right away!" He said and told the other to go look for Gila. "Mom! I'm here!" Ashewell said to his mom. "Ashewell? Why did you get off school so earlier?" Gila ask Ashewell. "Today is just an introduction day and we got off earlier." Ashewell said. "Oh are you sure you are not lying?" Gila ask. "I am not mom. When did I ever lie to you?" Ashewell said. "Well, anyway since you are here. Help me lift this." Gila said. "Okay." Ashewell reply and help life the box and her mom clean under it. 5 minute later. "Gila? You here?" A man voice echo throughout the reactor room. "I'm here!" Gila reply. "The boss call for you!" He said. "I will be there immediately!" Gila reply back.

Gila and Ashewell went back together. "You're here Gila. This is Erin Drake, the daughter of Tsutada Drake." The boss said. "Greeting to young miss Erin." Gila said. "Fire her." Erin said. Everyone heard this and was shock. Ashewell and his mom were the most shock. Gila could not talk and just stood there like a corpse. "You can't young miss Erin!" The boss said in protest. "Then you be in her place then." Erin said. He want to say something but was cut off by Gila. "It's okay Dhor. If that is what young miss Erin want. Then I can do that. Come on Ashewell." Gila said. Ashewell was very angry but did not try to show it in front of his mother. Gila does not like it when he cause trouble. Ashewell just went with her mother. Everyone look at Gila in pity. She was the most hard working person here. She want her son to have a better life that is why she work extra long hour just to earn enough for her son. Dhor was the most unhappy. He know what Gila has to go through to just earn for a living.

Erin was satisfy with what she had come here for. "I am done here. Take me home." Erin said. "As you wish." The driver said and drove off. Ashewell and his mom got home looking very gloomy. "I'm sorry son." Gila apologize to her son while crying. "No it should be me who apologize mom. She is from the same school. I don't know what she had against me that cause her to fire you." Ashewell said. "You just get some sleep." Ashewell said. Ashewell decide that he should quit school and look for a job to help him and his mom. Next day arrive. "Why is Ashewell not here yet? It's has already been 10 minute already." Tiffany said. "Where is he? He should be here long time ago." Durmon said. Tiffany did not see Ashewell so she decide to go meet Madam Yeagrras. Durmon also did the same. They both arrive to Madam Yeagrras office. "What do you guy want?" Madam Yeagrras ask. "It's about Ashewell." Tiffany said. "Oh... I'm sorry to say this but he drop out and I don't know the reason also." Madam Yeagrra said.

Tiffany and Durmon heard this and rush out instantly. Madam Yeagrras was confuse as to why are they in such a rush. Tiffany went to her car and immediately order her people to search for Ashewell place. Durmon also did them same. They were racing against each other. Within just 30 second, they found where Ashewell live. Tiffany and Durmon immediately rush to Ashewell place. After 7 minute. Tiffany and Durmon arrive to Ashewell place. Tiffany immediately got out of her car and rush to Ashewell house. Durmon also rush out. *knock knock* They both knock on the door. The door open and Ashewell was there. "What are you two doing here?" Ashewell ask. "Why did you drop out for?" Tiffany ask. "I had my reason for that." Ashewell said and walk past them. "Where are you going?" Tiffany ask. "To work of course." Ashewell reply. Tiffany and Durmon quickly realize that Ashewell drop out because he had to work. "Come work for me then!" Durmon said. "No! Come work for me! We are friend." Tiffany said.

"Please guys, if you two are here to mess around then please don't waste my time. I need to get to work before I get there late." Ashewell said. "No, I'm serious!" Tiffany said. Ashewell just ignore them and continue walking. "Are you going to just let your dream go like this?" Durmon ask. "I never had a dream or goal to began with. I just want to make money and care for my mother that is all." Ashewell reply. "Then I can take care of that right now!" Tiffany said. "Thanks but I want don't want to bother you." Ashewell reply. "No no, I'm really serious about this!" Tiffany said. Ashewell just ignore her and keep walking. "Please! I want you to teach me more about my NEO suit!" Tiffany said. "Please Fany, enough of this. I need to get to work." Ashewell said. "I will cover that for you as long as you have a duel with me." Durmon said. "I rather work than have a duel with you." Ashewell reply. "Then what if I got your mother involve?" Durmon said. Ashewell heard this and stop in his track.

"Don't even think of getting my mother involve!" Ashewell said and gave Durmon a death stare. "Either have a duel with me and I will cover for you or have your mother suffer." Durmon said and took out his NEO box and press it against his chest. *clank* Pieces of metals began to cover Durmon. After 3 second, Durmon was cover in a suit of armor. Durmon NEO suit was between a crusader and a samurai which was about 8 ft tall. His NEO suit is a tank and belong to the heavy class. Durmon turn to face Ashewell house. "Do whatever you want but just don't get near my mom." Ashewell said. Durmon ignore Ashewell and aim the gun at Ashewell house. *bang bang bang* Shell flew towards Ashewell house. *boom boom bang* The whole house cave in. "Stop!" Ashewell rush back. Durmon turn around and shoot at Ashewell, causing Ashewell to retreat back. "You want a fight! So be it!" Ashewell was really angry now. He will finish this fight quickly and go help his mom.

Ashewell stood up and a layer of metals appear from his left hand and make their way to cover his whole body. Tiffany and Durmon stare at Ashewell in shock. Ashewell does not have a NEO box but he can still put on a NEO suit. 3 second later and Ashewell was in his NEO suit. It was majestic and seem to very extremely agile. Ashewell just disappear from his spot and appear behind Durmon. *clank* "Warning! Back armor suffer heavy damage!" A voice warn Durmon. Durmon could not believe it at all. One hit and his whole back armor is gone just like that. Durmon turn around but Ashewell was already gone. Durmon look around but was hit in his left leg causing him to fell to his knee. "Warning! Left leg has been cut off!" The voice said again. *Clank* "Warning! Right side armor suffer heavy damage!" The voice said. Durmon could not do anything with these 5 second and he had already lost 70% of his armor already.

Ashewell appear 7 feet in front of Durmon and charge at him. While running, Ashewell combine both of his saber into a spear. Ashewell threw the spear towards Durmon. *clank* The spear was so fast and the impact was so much that Drumon was sent flying back 10 feet and was laying on his back. The spear was just 5 inch from his heart. Ashewell arrive to Durmon and pull out the spear. Ashewell did a spin and went for Durmon head. Durmon stare wide eye as he know that if the spear reach his helmet then he is dead for sure. Forget about having his armor retract. His life would end before his suit of armor could even retract. "Ashewell!" Gila shout at Ashewell and stop his action. Ashewell look to his left and saw that his mom was with Durmon men. "Mom?" Ashewell said. "What did I say about using that suit?" Gila said. Ashewell heard this and retract his suit. His suit of armor retract back into his left arm. Durmon could finally breath again. Death was just a few inches for him. Durmon retract his NEO suit back in a box.
