On the warfront.

Whilst Ark was facing the consequences of his actions, the war between humans and demons had finally started. On the frozen plains on the northern warfront, 2 small armies were quietly looking at each other. To call them small would be an understatement, to be honest since there were more than 20 thousand soldiers on each side, but compared to the actual soldiers each side had, these small armies were basically just meant to test the waters. 

Neither side knew much about each other, there had been quite some time since the last war after all. The weather up north was rather harsh, and it was winter all year around, so the face-off between the two armies was like a test of their soldiers' mental fortitude. The army that attacked first would be subtly admitting that they weren't as good as their enemies. Since that was the case, neither side wanted to attack first.
