"The Ghosthand Gang, you say?" One of the former bandits asked, this time it is a blue-haired chubby guy with a deep blue eyes as well. He looked carefully at the kid. The bandits were surprised so they asked.
"Yo, Naga. Why did you ask?" They wanted to know more. It seems that a new topic was opened.
The old orc knew some information while the elf is clueless given the fact that he stayed most of his life in his elf village. They don't usually care about bandit groups since for the elves, all bandits are the same. They are lawless criminal targetting richmen.
'Based on the information I absorbed, the leader is actually my father.' Naga chuckled while thinking about it. He was a former general and he is familiar with some organized crime group. Some tried to bribe him before for protection and fame.
"Oh, my father was a member of that group. I just remember it now. Something went bad 3 years ago and I was sold to a baron but unfortunately, the baron's family didn't like me so I was sold again. Sigh." Naga replied with disappointment in his tone. He didn't reveal that he's the leader's son since quite a few enemies are still targetting him and other surviving gang officers.
The prisoners looked at him with big eyes. They were all shocked. "thr... three years? Ohh... Wait!! Yes I remember it now!" One of the prisoners yelled.
"Yes! The Ghosthand Gang was destroyed 3 years ago. It was their peak. They are one of the biggest gangs. They can actually rival the top ranking clans and families at that time!"
"Nobody knows what really happened. We could say that only the Ghosthand Gang high ranking members can tell us the truth."
"There's a quite popular conspiracy. Many clans and gangs actually schemed for the Ghosthand's destruction. High grade poisons were also involved. A famous sect and church also helped."
"The Ghosthand Monk. He's a former monk that became one of the peak experts. He was a monk in his childhood but war destroyed his temple and it was lost to history after that. He wandered and eventually started his own gang."
"What a weird story of a monk becoming a gangster. It's too sad he died 3 years ago. He was actually a gallant gangster. Can you believe that?" The blond prisoner contemplated. He laughed but you can feel sadness. Their group actually wanted to join the gang before.
No one talk for a while. The old orc just listened while the elf got curious. The other prisoners are thinking different things. When suddenly one of the four bandits remembered something... "He's a son of Ghosthand Gang member. He is technically, a gangster. He's a gangster."
"Wait. Naga... Are you a gangster? Do you want to be a gangster? Not a bandit?" The red-haired bandit asked.
"I am not a gangster. I was 10 years old when the gang was destroyed. I know nothing. Do you think a child can be a gangster?" Naga asked while smiling.
"A young kid can be a scholar. A young kid can be a king. There are things that are hereditary." It is actually the elf who said this.
"Are you encouraging Naga to be a gangster? Elf?" Old run asked curiously. The former bandit group is giving it a thought.
"Hahaha. I'm not familiar with it, Old Drun. I am just stating what's on my mind. And.. oh, call me Samuel."
Naga was surprised and he laughed. "Hahaha. Then, join my gang then."
"Hahaha. It is my pleasure, young lord!" Samuel the elf said. The bandit group jokingly said that they will join too. Old orc is watching them happily and joined the fun.
No one expected that this joke will eventually happen and the joke will be a legend for all ages.
