-Who? Oh that guy who you just kissed earlier. Such a cliche moment. I am more of a riveting story lover. Shame.
-Jerry!!
-Tsk...tsk; now just close your eyes and let me..(BANG!!!)..(Aghh)...Why?
-...,- The guy earned himself a hole in his right leg. Courtesy of Jerry himself. Looked like he had appeared by the help of some magical teleportation. I turned silent for the moment.
Getting unexpectedly shot put that giant thug in a state of temporal paralysis. Probably my sense of anger kicked in alongside the obvious yet uncontrollable thirst of revenge for the humiliation. I acted beyond my general limitations. The gun holstered near his belly was exposed when he became misbalanced. I got the glimpse of it.
That sight of the gun made me feel strong. I moved away and pulled out the said light and compact sized pistol out of its place. I aimed at him...
-YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES...SICK BASTARD!!
-Layla! Stop! No, don't! Don't do..,- These words came from Jerry. I saw him running towards us but it was futile. That was the last thing I saw of Jerry before putting pressure on the trigger. My hands never felt so firm. A loud sound of explosion came out. With that suddenly everything felt different; it was fear.
.

.
-Layla? Hey! Easy! It's me, Jerry. I am here...I am right here. No need to be scared, it's just me,- Probably fear or whatever that took over my mind snapped me off. I was losing control over my physical actions. Jerry was right there in front of my eyes. I wanted to embrace him with every fibre of my body. But another part of me didn't allow my hands to lower the gun I was holding. All I could do was to stand there and cry..
-Jerry...help..help me.
-Come here.
-...
-...,- I felt like the blood inside me was running cold, my brain lost its capability to think. All I knew that I had shot someone while looking into his eyes. The very side of me which was so eager to punish him now couldn't forgive my whole being. In the next moment the entire world felt the same way. Even the person I loved, who was standing right before me looked disappointed in me. When I saw him coming right at me I panicked. My eyes were emotionless. Dead.
-No! Don't get close...I didn't...I couldn't stop,- Jerry didn't say a single word. I noticed he slowly placed his finger between the hammer and the cap. My hands gave in. I let go off the gun.
-It's okay. Everything's alright. You were strong with full of courage.
-...,- I still couldn't say anything. But my body started to feel warm. I wrapped my arms around him all the way back and put my head on his chest.
.
.
-Tell me, what's my favourite flower?
-(A silence)Red orchid.
-You are one too,- Then he patted my head and kissed on my forehead. "Let's go"-I couldn't understand what he meant by that. I probably do now.
