Chapter 1Introduction

Selene and Ryan walked past each other across the hallways. Selene glanced at him and realized that Ryan ignored her again. This has been happening for awhile.

The two were childhood friends. Ever since they popped out of their mom's vaginas, they were close to one another..Like really close. Throughout middle school and junior high, they had the same classes together. Their mom's were forced to tell the school administration that the two must be in the same classes at all cost because if they didn't, they screamed and bawled their eyes out. The relationship they had was like no other. Everyone else was so jealous of how close they were together, and soon enough, the two were hated by the rest of the school. to add on it would also hang out after school. The two would go to Selene's house and do their homework. Once they had finished their homework, they would play house. Ryan was the husband and Selene was the wife. On May 10th 2009, Selene remembered what Ryan said.

" You are going to be my real life when were old enough to marry. When we get out of college I will immediately marry you in a big chapel with alot of flowers and cake and we'll start a family of our own because that is how much I love you."

Selene thought he meant what he said since they had been there for each other literally since they were born. This all seemed to be true until the last day of Junior High School AKA 8th grade. Ryan got asked out by a 7th grader and Selene presumed that Ryan would say no.

Ryan said yes.

Selene cried for exactly 37 minutes.

They hung out for a while and slowly, the bond Ryan and Selene had was fading. Everyday Selene would be by herself. During lunch she would eat by herself. In classes, she had nobody to talk to except the teacher for grades and how to improve in her academic classes. Ryan, on the other hand, was being very social. His girlfriend had forced him to talk to all the people in the school since she was popular as well. Ryan turned into a nice friendly and popular student, which wasn't bad,

The two are now in high school and they don't talk to each other at all. What once was thought to be a love connection was nothing but an illusion. Soon enough, Ryan started to become a perpetrator to Selene. She thought of it as a way to keep the bond they had in the past.
