Goku's Transformation

"Yes! Mr. Moon is very pretty tonight." Pu'ar said, he was hovering at top of the ceiling.

"Full moon?" Goku said surprised.

"When there's a full moon out at night, a really scary monster comes out." Goku told the group.

"Haha! You mean the werewolf? If you've got time to think of stupid things like that, think of a way to get us out." Bulma ridiculed.

"I'm not lying! My grandpa had his leg crushed when it stepped on him!" Goku said.

"What?! The martial arts master Son Gohan!? That monster must be really strong!" Yamcha said in shock.

"Yeah. It demolished our house, trees and everything." Goku said and gestured with his hands.

"What kind of monster was it?" Oolong asked, sweat dripping on his head.

"I was asleep so I never saw it. But Kalan said it was a giant ape monster." Goku said honestly.

"You were asleep even though it destroyed your house?! What kind of nerves do you have?!" Oolong exclaimed shocked.

"My grandpa and Kalan always tells me not to look at the full moon. Because a giant ape monster will appear. I don't see how me seeing the full moon has anything to do with it though." Goku said innocently.

"Ah?! A-Ape monster? Tail- Monkey Tail!" The group looked fearfully at Kalan and Goku's tails.

"I wonder if the monster comes out here too when it's full moon." Goku said in wonder.

"Hm? What's wrong?" Goku noticed the group had gathered in the opposite corner of him.

"Goku, mind if I ask? That night the monster came out. Did you look at the full moon?" Bulma asked fearfully. The group fearfully looked at Goku.

"Yeah, I was told not to, but I accidentally did when I went outside to pee." Goku stuck out his tongue and said with a silly smile.

"K-Kalan?" Bulma asked in confirmation. Suddenly understanding why Kalan had closed his eyes.

"Yeah, it's true that a giant ape monster will appear once 'we' look at the moon." Kalan said calmly with his eyes closed. He had been nervous at first, but after closing his eyes and calming down. He relaxed once more.

"Why did I panic... As long as my eyes are closed, nothing will happen." Kalan thought.

"This! How strong is the monster?" Yamcha asked.

"Well... Strong enough to demolish this castle." Kalan thought and said.

"Awa-wa-wa!" The group cried out in fear.

"Goku! Don't look at the moon! Alright?" Bulma pointed at the ceiling.

"Eh?" Goku turned around and looked at the ceiling in confusion.

"Aaah!" The group screamed.

"Whoops! I looked again!" Goku said with a foolish smile plastered on his face.

"...Eh?" The group didn't see Goku change.

"Kalan, did you joke earlier?" Oolong asked.

"Goku looked at the moon?" Kalan asked.

"Yeah." Oolong replied.

"Oh. Then lets prepare to get out. The room is going to get destroyed soon." Kalan said with his eyes still closed and walked up to Bulma and carried her on his right arm.

"Ah? You're serious?!" Yamcha asked anxiously.

"Yeah. Come, help be my eyes." Kalan said jokingly and grabbed Pu'ar. He simply liked to play with this cute little cat.

*Dok* *Dok* The group could hear loud heartbeats from Goku.

*Dok Dok*

*Dok Dok Dok*

Goku's eyes turned red and his body bulged. Slowly enlarging, his clothes ripped apart from his ever increasing body.

*Growl* Goku roared like a beast. His body continued enlarging and fur grew out his body.

*Crack Crack* Goku turned into a furry giant ape, his height reached the ceiling and his head slowly pushed against the glass, causing cracks to appear.

"Uwaaaa!!" The group screamed fearfully, their eyes widened in shock and horror. Yamcha and Oolong scratched the walls in hope of ripping it apart and run as far away as they could from the giant ape monster.

*Bang Bang* *Crack Crack* Goku in his great ape form grew as high as the castle, the ceiling broke apart, he then continued to break the walls and smash whatever part of the building he could see.

"Hurry and run or we'll be killed!" Yamcha screamed while he climbed up the wall.

Kalan with Bulma in one arm and Pu'ar in the other, easily jumped to the top of the wall and down the other side.

"Uwaaa! Obstacle! Jump! Jump!" Pu'ar panically shouted.

The group hurriedly ran away from the castle while an airplane suddenly flew out of the castle, catching Goku's attention. Goku in his great ape form attacked the plane and destroyed it by throwing a large piece of a tower at it. The plane crashed and the large piece of tower continued flying toward the group.

"Wa-wa-wa! Run! The tower is falling at us!!" Pu'ar shouted fearfully while still grabbed by Kalan.

Kalan jumped forward and evaded the crashing tower with ease. Yamcha carrying Oolong rolled away and barely evaded the tower.

"That was close!" Yamcha said while looking at the piece of tower next to them and sighed in relief.

"Damn it, Goku!" Oolong cursed.

"It's no use trying to say anything to Goku in his current state. We need to get further away from him." Yamcha said and started running again.

"Kalan! How long will Goku stay like that?" Bulma asked.

"Until either the moon disappears or his tail is cut." Kalan stated while calmly running forward carrying her.

"Ah? Why didn't we just cut off Goku's tail?" Oolong shouted.

"If you want to, you go cut it off." Kalan said, his eyes still closed.

"No, no, no! Let's just get out of here!" Oolong hurriedly shook his head and ran while looking fearfully at the great ape in the distance.

The group managed to run away and looked at Goku warily from afar, they finally relaxed upon seeing dawn approach.

"Phew, we survived." the group breathed out in relief.

"Kalan how could you not tell us something so important!" Bulma complained.

"Well... I forgot about it, it's been many years since I last transformed." Kalan said honestly.

"Transformed?! Kalan your tail!" The group worriedly looked at Kalan's tail.

"We should cut it off!" Oolong suggested.

"Cut your head! The tail is like a limb to me, try cutting off your fingers if you can." Kalan rolled his eyes and said.

"Kalan, will you also go rampant like Goku when transformed?" Bulma asked with concern.

"Not in the past... I could fully control myself. But there has been a few changes to my body recently... I can't guarantee I can control myself now..." Kalan said unsure.

"Does that mean you and Goku can learn to control yourselves after turning into a giant ape monster?" Bulma asked seriously.

"Well, I managed to stay conscious after transforming on my first try... And I also had no problems on my following transformations. But I need some time to get adjusted to the new changes in my body. It shouldn't take long for me to stay conscious with some training. As for Kakarot... I have no idea... He have transformed before but went on a rampage..." Kalan said truthfully. He did not know if Goku could learn to maintain his reason with training. After all, the Saiyans only gave such training to mid class warriors, and not all of them manage to stay conscious in great ape form. But luckily their subconscious mind allows all Saiyans to recognize fellow Saiyans in great ape form as friendly and not attack their allies.

"How strong will you become when you transform? Will you be as strong as Goku?" Yamcha asked curiously since he knew Kalan was a lot stronger and believed him to be close in power to Master Roshi after spying on Kalan's group from before.

"No, our transformation makes us 10x stronger. But, the recent changes makes me 15x stronger. Of course it also made it harder for me to stay awake and not go berserk..." Kalan explained honestly.

"I wonder how they'll react when the Saiyan saga begins... But will it be the same as in the story...? Whatever I'll know by that time." Kalan thought curiously.

"Fift-Fifteen Master Roshis..." Yamcha mumbled stunned, with snot hanging down his nose.

"What... Are there many like you and Goku? With monkey tails?" Oolong asked worriedly.

"Hm... Nope, there's only us 2 left on Earth." Kalan thought and said.

"Say, are you guys aliens?" Oolong wondered.

"Shut up, Oolong!" Bulma said angrily.

"You really have a colorful imagination." Kalan said and thought "Yep, you're right. Can't believe of everyone here, only you, the little pig managed to guess it right..."

The group walked back to the castle, what they saw was a completely demolished castle. After looking around a bit, they found a naked Goku sleeping soundly.

"He's fine right?" Bulma asked.

"Yeah, don't worry, we just get exhausted from the transformation. It uses a lot of energy after all. Once the transformation ends, we usually fall asleep." Kalan said.

"Bulma, you're still staying with me?" Kalan asked.

"Of course, I don't care about your transformation... You're still you." Bulma said and hugged Kalan. Worried Kalan would feel uneasy staying with them after revealing such a secret.

"Great! Then let's date!" Kalan smiled and happily hugged Bulma back.
