World Martial Arts Tournament

Kalan slowly absorbed Yamoshi's blood every day as they all took their time sightseeing Earth. Earth was very green with lots of plants, trees, ocean and life. He thought it would cheer up Yamoshi. Since planet Sadala was very dark and gloomy. The same went for Kalan and Bardock as the atmosphere was just to stuffy thus everyone had agreed to take some time to relax.

Both Kalan and Bardock could suppress their Ki but not Yamoshi. Kalan had no choice but to let the System absorb a bunch of Yamoshi's Ki. Otherwise it would scare everyone from the strong pressure he radiate out naturally. Kalan also taught Yamoshi all the martial arts he knew. It would take some time before Yamoshi mastered the martial arts.

They visited a few cities and had great food. Kalan also bought several capsules to store lots of food, water and fuel for Yamoshi. Sometimes they would explore a few forests and mountains. It seemed that Yamoshi cheered up a bit as he did not show a sad face anymore. But Kalan could see that deep in his eyes, a trace of sadness was hidden.

"Let's go check out the World Tournament Stadium! I've always wanted to see it." Kalan said. It was one of the well know places in the stories and he had always wanted to at least once fight in the tournament. But he had not had the time before as he had tried his best to become stronger and fight Frieza.

"Eh? Goku and Piccolo?!?" Kalan was surprised as he saw Goku and Piccolo fight in the World Martial Arts Tournament.

"Ah? That is. Kakkarot?" Bardock saw Goku who looked just like him and was surprised. He already knew from Kalan that they had traveled to the future but was not in their timeline. He also did not expect it to be so many years in the future that his son had already grown up.

"It seems like it's the 23rd tournament before Dragon Ball Z starts." Kalan thought as he watched their fight.

The fight went just like in the story. Piccolo shot a hole in Goku's chest and broke all his limbs, but Goku managed to headbutt Piccolo out of bounds and knocked him unconscious. It was funny how they were all shouting about killing Piccolo.

"That plot armor..." Kalan thought speechlessly. Goku was practically crippled yet he still won the match with a headbutt.

Bardock asked Kalan to help heal Goku, but Kalan shook his head and explained that he'll soon be patched up. They saw Goku eat a senzu and his wounds magically disappeared.

"Amazing! I did not know those bland beans could not only fill one up for days. But also heal wounds!" Bardock exclaimed. They had only used senzu beans as food to fill their stomachs during their stay on Planet Sadala.

"That's why they're called Senzu beans(Sage beans)." Kalan smiled and said.

Bardock felt it was so wasteful to use those magical beans as mere food, each bean was equal to one extra life. It was especially valuable for Saiyans as they could battle without worry and when they're near death, just eat one bean and not only would their wounds all heal. They would also receive a Zenkai! If he could, Bardock would spit out the beans he had eaten over the month.

Bardock knowing it was not their timeline, decided not to approach Goku. He would wait until they got back to their own timeline before visiting his son. After all, he would never see this Goku ever again once they leave.

"How come Kakkarot is so weak...? I know he was born with a pathetically low battle power of 2... But his Ki is still lower than Raditz..." Bardock wondered, he seemed to want to say something but he decided not to.

"Is it from his future sights?" Kalan wondered but decided not to ask. Bardock had not had any headaches since they traveled to the past. So it was unlikely for Bardock to have learned anything new.

"Too bad the audience was scared away by Piccolo otherwise we would be hearing loud cheerings... Right! Why did I not think of this earlier? Instead of letting Satan be revered by everyone for his scam. I should just take the position of the strongest on Earth! There's probably billions of people on Earth! With such a large population I'll be able to absorb a large amount of Faith Energy!" Kalan thought excitedly. He planned to win the World Martial Arts Tournament once he got back to his time.

"Let's go to Namek." Kalan said. He wanted to ask the Namek dragon if it knew how to get back to their own time. And also since it got 3 wishes he thought he could also wish for Eternal Youth as he thought he might use the Spawn Eggs in the future.

"System show me my status!" Kalan ordered excitedly as he thought of the Ancient Saiyan bloodline. Not to mention Yamoshi's! His great ape body was over 200 meters tall! Double that of an ordinary Ancient Saiyan. At some point during his absorption of Yamoshi's blood. The system had indicated 100% of the bloodline was collected.

Kalan had removed the useless branch transformations of Super Saiyan. Although his Super Saiyan only gave 65x multiplier. The epiphany he received from watching Yamoshi transform into a humanoid Saiyan allowed him to have a different understanding of the Super Saiyan transformation. He could now burst forth for an instant with powers beyond the 65x multiplier. Though he had not reached the level where he can transform into a Super Saiyan 2. That would require more time for him to experiment.

"System where is the Ancient Saiyan bloodline?" Kalan was perplexed as he did not see the bloodline in his status.

Host requires 10,000 Origin Energy to truly fuse with the Ancient Saiyan bloodline. 2,000 Origin Energy is required for for the Legendary Super Saiyan and Frieza's bloodline once 100% of it's bloodline has been gathered. 30% of the bloodline is the maximum the system can infuse with host without Origin Energy.]

It seemed that the Ancient Saiyan bloodline was a lot stronger than the Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline as it needed 5 times more Origin Energy.

"What do you mean by 'truly'? Does it mean there is some way to fuse without the use of Origin Energy?" Kalan wondered if there was some hidden meaning in the system's words.

"No! I don't want to look like a cockroach! And Cell does have some personality issues..." Kalan thought as he shivered in fear.

"Oh right! Does that mean I have collected more than 30% of both the Legendary Super Saiyan's and Frieza's bloodline?" Kalan thought how it was so odd that both of them had exactly 30% displayed on his status.

"I guess I don't need to ask why you have not told me about this right...?" Kalan's mouth twitched, his forehead scrunched as 3 black lines appeared.

"Got to start my Origin Energy farm..." Thus Kalan started planning his future as the strongest champion on Earth...
