Dimensional Space

When Jia Bi Yu opened his eyes once again, his surroundings had changed.

He was standing in a soft meadow with a light breeze embracing the grass underneath him.

A clear blue sky with sparse fluffy clouds overhead that ran past the horizon.

Far in the distance on his left were tall serene mountains.

On his right were a lush overgrowth of bamboo trees.

Not far from where he was were a few small bamboo houses.

"Mother, I detect a dimensional space," Ian woke Jia Bi Yu up from his stupor. " Its core seems to be from that leakage."

[No wonder]

Jia Bi Yu had almost thought he had teleported into his own dimensional space, despite the differences in landscape, as this place gave off a similar feeling.

The main difference was that this place had an artificial feel to it as compared to his own space that was almost like a mini world.

After those fifteen days, Ian had formed a small dimensional space with ten cubic meters.

His spatial dimension could now be used to grow the spiritual seeds he had collected on his journey back in Trinix, which was not possible to be grown in the outside world due to a lack of mana.

Its space had also slowly grown from its original ten cubic meters to a grand space of five hundred cubic meters, even larger than the size of his spatial ring.

"Please follow me," an ancient voice sounded out next to him.

Jia Bi Yu had nearly forgotten about the Abbot.

With the Abbot walking in front, they walked towards the bamboo houses, entering the one in the very center.

He had expected to see similarly styled bamboo furniture inside, but all there was was a deep hole with no light penetrating through it.

A single rope ladder hung from the edge of the opening, falling deep into the void beneath.

"The fissure is located inside," the Abbot explained. "Each generation of head of this monastery has the duty to guard this passage to the underworld.

My generation is already the 145th.

Besides the first key to the room where the painting is that is being held by the first generation who has since ascended to the upper realms, the only other key is in my hands.

This key is passed from generation to generation and only to each succeeding head of the monastery.

The second layer of seal is the painting itself.

Only those who have left behind a portion of soul power in the painting can open the world inside.

These soul powers are also there to act as a backup protection in case the energy within the fissure gets too strong, which signifies that something is trying to pass through.

The soul powers are at the bottom of this hole which is the third layer of the seal.

Every fifty meters down is a rank five array, laid down by the first generation Abbot who was also one of the best array masters in history."

The Abbot's eyes twinkled with fanaticism.

"Now, Senior, let us go down."

Taking the lead, the Abbot stepped onto the ladder.

The Abbot did not bother to tell Jia Bi Yu that the arrays will only activate when the door to the fissure opens.

It took two hours before they finally reached the bottom of the hole.

Both of them were still maintaining a calm exterior appearance with only the Abbot slightly breathing heavier than usual.

Jia Bi Yu, on the other hand, was still breathing steadily, further proving the Abbot's thoughts.

Walking a little further inside this underground space was a platform with a big double door floating a meter off of it.

The door leaked out a bit of dark fog from its hinges.

Surrounding this door were 145 faint figures of monks sitting on the platform with their palms together and eyes closed.

The Abbot also put his palms together and bowed towards the ghost-like figures, "Namo Amitābha."

Looking closely, Jia Bi Yu noticed that one of those monks looked like a younger version of the Abbot.

"These are the soul powers left behind by each generation of head when they succeed their predecessors," the Abbot explained, verifying Jia Bi Yu's hypothesis.

"This door is the final seal of the fissure, and in a way, it is also the first seal," the Abbot continued.

"This painting world is maintained by the small amount of energy that is constantly being leaked from it.

It has created an equilibrium between the fissure and its seals."

This was something that he already learned from Ian.

Jia Bi Yu, with his eyes still on the floating door, asked the Abbot, "So how do I open this?"

The Abbot widened his eyes in disbelief.
