While Qi Qingchen had said they were leaving in a while, Jiang Yi and Di Ling'er waited for a full ten hours. Only when the two blood moons had risen into the night sky did Qi Qingchen walk in and tell the two they could leave now.

Qi Qingchen just had too many guests while Yi Buhui also had to make some arrangements, hence the huge delay. The ten hours of waiting felt extraordinarily long for Jiang Yi. He was extremely anxious, and when Qi Qingchen finally appeared, he almost sprang up from his seat.

"You two just have to follow me; don't speak and don't make any sudden movements!"

Qi Qingchen instructed the two as Jiang Yi and Di Ling'er hurriedly nodded in consent. Qi Qingchen brought the two out to a side hall. They did not head for the main entrance but headed to the backyard instead.
