Slaughtering Their Forces

The soldiers of the Earth Dragon Clan and Fire Phoenix Clan watched their Vice Generals fall apart from the neck and hit the ground. Their bodies also followed suit.

They were unable to comprehend what had just happened even though they were veterans, having seen so much blood on the battlefield. The deaths of their Vice Generals shouldn't have been that shocking, but to not be even able to notice the monstrous beast that emerged from the shadows, they were momentarily seized with fear, their subconscious wondering if it was still before them.

Even the severed heads of their Vice Generals failed to remind them of the consequences of remaining here. They were absolutely stupefied that their brains stopped thinking for a moment.

Just as they heard the triggering word from Davis Alstreim, they hurriedly came out of their reverie and tried to regroup.
