4 Battle Techniques

Big Sis...Big Sis...Big Sis...

Something about this two words pierced the hearts of Lin Su Chen. It struck her like a cupid arrow and a twine sensation of happiness overwhelmed her, she excitedly, like a little puppy ran up to Liuyun and grabbed his hands.

Lin Su Chen was completely satisfied with Liuyun joining the family, she always wanted a cute obedient little brother. Lin Cheng was completely bratty and rude to her even though she was technically his older sister, although she normally got along well in the family, she never managed to get along with Lin Cheng.

"Hmph! It's only a stupid little brat! I won't accept you into the family you hear me!?"

The only one who was unhappy about the appearance of Liuyun was Lin Cheng. The boy frowns in disgusting and glared at Liuyun, within his eyes, concealed a mysterious hatred that was barely visible. Liuyun managed to spot it though, his instincts were sharp and he became guarded against Lin Cheng.

Someone like Lin Cheng is never a simple man… He acts as if like he was a spoiled kid but his eyes contained a cunning expression as if he was scanning Liuyun to see if he was going to be a threat to him or not. Such a person is dangerous. He will be willing to do anything in order to obtain power and influence… Even if it meant sacrificing his entire family.

After the scrumptious meal ended, everyone headed back into their rooms to retreat for the night. Liuyun was the only exception though, donning black clothes that made him nearly unseeable in the dark cold night, he went out to a quiet area outside the city to train.

He arrived at the outskirts of the city and headed towards the outer area of Starfall forest. He hid carefully and started to cultivate, he did not train in the Lin Clan's manor as his energy gathering speed was too quick. It might shock everyone in the clan and he would face some troubles, in addition, Starfall forest contained a larger amount of Nature energy so Liuyun would cultivate faster.

"Liuyun wait, for tonight don't cultivate…"

"I will be your personal teacher from today onwards, you will learn battle techniques from me."

"Battle techniques?!"

Battle techniques, they are powerful skills that are used in battle. For example Feng Hanyan's Phoenix Searing Rend, it was classified as a Heaven tier battle technique taught to her by the Feng clan. Battle techniques are classified as Mortal Tier, Earth Tier, Heaven Tier, and Immortal Tier. Mortal as the weakest and Immortal as the most powerful tier, battle techniques are rare and hard to create. Even some rich clans don't even have a battle technique. The Lin's clan swallow crying spear technique was an earth tier technique and it already managed to make the Lin clan into a top 4 clan within just a century.

Liuyun was surprised to hear that Shi Xi Wei was going to be his personal tutor, moreover going to teach him battle techniques! He was excited to learn. Shi Xi Wei appeared from within his body and floated beside Liuyun.

"That's right, I will teach you the Shi clan's battle techniques. For my whole entire life, I cultivated and trained only 4 battle techniques… This battle techniques followed me forever and I always used them in battle, yet, I have never ever mastered them completely."

Liuyun was stunned for a moment, but he retracted his stunned look and with seriousness in his eyes, he decided to listen to Shi Xi Wei.
