Funeral
Feng Mian cried and cried for who knows how long. She didn't even see the time and just stayed there to cry. There was no one else around her except for Zhang Liang. Even though he did nothing but hug and stay with her, Feng Mian felt comforted by his presence alone.
It took some time before she could stop crying and started to take care of the matter of her mother's burial. All this time, Zhang Liang only accompanied her and didn't say anything.

"Boss still hasn't returned?"
Secretary He looked at the director and nodded. "He's attending his wife's mother's funeral today. I don't think that he'll be able to go to work for now."
Looking at the stack of papers on the table, he sighed to himself. Zhang Liang rarely abandoned his work, but when he did, it would be for something important. When a close family member died, it was the norm to give them time to mourn for their losses.
