The author is here to reiterate to all the reader certain points. The main character is reborn as a farmer in a universe 'similar' to a novel of his previous life, Against The Gods. Since his 'awakening', which is the recovery of his past life's memories, he will do everything that might benefit him. His ultimate objective is to reach the apex and gain immortality. There will be a harem since it's a fanfic based on a novel of such genre, but the Mc will create one ONLY to benefit him, and he will NEVER be affected by the Squirrel In My Pants disease. The girl in the art is Ying Yue, the main character's cute 'little sister'.

Then it's not grey MC as much as evil MC. Grey MCs have bottom lines and things they won't do, usually they only do whatever if they feel like there is no other way. Evil MC does whatever as long as it benifits him. Good MC will always do good and never cross the evil line, like Disney MC style, hero mc basically, the Emiya MC where he won't kill if it doesn't fit his ideals. tl;dr Good MC will always follow his ideals even to his detriment, Grey MC will have a bottom line, things he'll essentially never do, Evil MC will do what benifits him with almost no consideration(they still have goals and mby people they care for).
I dont believe that yoit seeing the world in black n white go me grey can easily slide into chaotic neutral to get what needs to be done by any means lawful good alignment is rare to find an uphold in a might makes right world just think of it in our world if you got the money or status ergo politican, dr etc you can do whatever you want when you cross the line or get caught is only thing that matter this also depends where you live as bribing an doing things openly can aslo occur in some places

But let me explain, my main character, although mainly 'evil' as long as he doesn't have to risk himself or sacrifice a significant amount of benefits, will inconvenience himself to help his allies or people he feels he has an obligation, his family as an example.
