Itachi attacks him for any reason and he dies. You will find there are no such fics. It’s either another Uchiha taking revenge, Itachi doesn’t leave at all or Itachi returns to Konoha.

I simply want one fic where Itachi is slain as an enemy. 1 fic where there is no grand plan. Itachi attacks the wrong guy and gets killed like any other Akatsuki member. Every damn fic worship Itachi.

Logically this is correct. I mean to get 2 six paths meat shield is the best protection. Sasuke is long term work. Naruto is one summon away. Just summon Kushina for a minute and Naruto would be you life long meat shield. Sasuke needs ground work.
