That one last line killed any hope I've for this Novel. Thanks to that now I'm seeing him as a mentally handicapped and unstable 18-y.o with incoherent speech.

So he's ex rich young master type from families of idiots that has their entire fortune swindled out of them.... Typical. At least it's consistent, spineless cowards and arrogant prick mold into one.

So CRINGE! yuck....

Though it's great and fresh to see interactions with the intelligent Pokemon learnt their ways and culture as you go, maybe it's time to have some 'human' in the scene? I'd like to see what can be done when our mc and them. Oh and different pokemon that dwell in ecosystem would be interesting too, how it goes in the dessert, tundras, human villages, urban area, etc etc. That'd fantastic to write.
