The story has a whimsical vibe and is full of mystery. You can just tell that Lira is going to have an amazing time year after year at Hogwarts--- I mean, at her school. The pacing and tension are well maintained, which keeps the plot engaging. There are quite a lot of characters, but each one is fleshed out nicely in every chapter, with distinct traits that make them easy to tell apart. I’ve only read up to almost the end of the free chapters so far, but I keep coming back from time to time to read more. I did notice that some paragraphs feel a bit crowded, so adding a bit more spacing could make it easier to read. Also, for the very first chapter, you might want to place your disclaimer in the “Author’s Notes or Thoughts” section on Webtoon... Great Work Author-nim!
I really like the blend of third-person POV and first-person POV, especially with his thoughts being included throughout the story. it works so well. I also love how edgy everything feels, from the descriptions to the dialogues. It doesn’t come off as cringe at all; instead of making me want to curl my toes, I actually found myself grinning at how emotions were portrayed. You manage to take something that could be described in just a single word and elevate it with sharp, edgy detail, which makes the scenes so vivid. The action scenes are also fantastic, the way you emphasize sounds and movements really brings everything to life. Also. love how Rue is actually 90 plus young lol. Overall, it’s a great read!
gnarly
thats a unique way of saying 'its something he adamantly avoid' that would mean His purpose is his weakness??? now that's a start
Thanksss much! I’m really glad you’re enjoying the start of the story.
I’m so glad the story left an impression on you. Thank you for taking the time to read it and share your thoughts about it! I appreciate it!
I love that Lara is a strong female lead, and the mystery surrounding her being wolfless yet still having a mate bond is so intriguing. Thornak is such a green flag, he respects her, gives her space, but is always there when she needs him. It’s a refreshing change from the usual red/black flag male leads. I also really like the human–wolf dynamics in the story. And of course, the ML’s mother and Selene----girl, your name literally means 'moon' why are you acting like such a villain?--- are constantly pulling the classic 'she’s nothing, you can’t be with her' routine.... despite him clearly stating that she’s 'his mate'. On top of that, there’s this ongoing plot about war and a mysterious vision, which raises the stakes and makes the story even more compelling. Also, I can’t help but laugh at the name contrast... Thornak sounds so regal, and then his wolf is named Jax. It’s such a funny mix of old names and modern. All in all, it’s a great read, and I’m definitely following along!
girl, she's literally his 'mate', what you mean??? hahahhaha
It’s literally like that... her life turns into a full-on soap opera after just one ‘mistake’ in a single night, lol.
I usually prefer books written in third-person POV, but this one’s first-person POV just hits differently...it really pulls you in. I love the hate-to-love dynamic between Selene and Damian, and the story doesn’t drag at all, it escalates quickly. If you enjoy fast-paced plots, this is perfect.... I mean she’s already met his family, sassed the mom, and clashed with the brother all within just a few chapters. Like Selene said in latest chapter, it really does feel like a soap opera. We get her relatable 'y/n' moments, and the male lead switches between being a jerk and obsessive, but the female lead matches his energy perfectly, which makes their interactions so entertaining. Just a small suggestion... there’s no need to include the chapter numbers in the title since the system already does that automatically. Other than that, it’s a fantastic read, and I’m definitely following along!
