Biggest aspect I love is the creative use of the different element powers. The way this story portrays the strongest, Atticus. Also posting this review so that more chapter are posted.

Okay, first and foremost, I highly enjoyed this novel. Now, for anyone who hates novels that have any form of slavery, or mcs who make cold blooded decisions, this might not be for you. The story is very well done. Most important characters are well developed while lesser characters do fade away, and while it would be nice to know how they ended up, I’m not all that fussed about it. I will say that the last bit of the book felt very slow to me, but I’m not counting off on that because I was reading update to update and the updates weren’t released all that quickly, so I can’t give a true judgement. I truly loved the bloodline and Unigin systems we see present throughout the series, and thought they were very well done. Now, there are several things that raise questions while reading, but once you reach the end, most of them are answered and understood. Overall, this was a very solid read and while it did have its flaws, they weren’t serious enough for me to deprive it of a 5/5 stars.

Well how can I say this without seeming like a complete fanboy. . . it doesn't matter. The story from the first to the last chapter was truly captivating. A well built world skill system interesting characters good pacing. Its just brilliant storytelling. I have to give my utmost respect and thanks to the author for this masterpiece and to the translation team without them i could have not enjoyed this marvelous story

I like this novel. It has a very interesting plot, power system and cadence to it - good enough for me to pause other novels and binge through this. The fights are quite gripping - even when the mc gets unbelievable breakthroughs in the middle of battle. There are some issues that keep it from getting 5. - The power system is over complicated. - The writing quality dips when the topic is romance or thereabouts. - The short chapters are further nerfed by long stats listings and unnecessary analysis. - Many common concepts are twisted so much that test our brains. e. g. , Intelligence, Wisdom, Willpower, etc. , influence things far beyond how we understand those words. Madness is way beyond how we normally understand it. Yet, it is worth reading

so I'll start by saying that I think that SS (shadow slave) is one of the best novels I've ever read both when talking about mysteries and when talking about relationships with characters and also the characters themselves are very interesting and unique from many points of view, the pawer system fights and even love parts "if you're interested in that part. " but I think that there is one thing that in my opinion "ruins" the novel and it is the writing, then I think that g3 is a great writer and has created a truly fascinating and at the same time "scary" work But the writing gets too lost in details and useless things (for example the sunny/timeskip flashback at the forgetton shor [there are 50 chapters that make the reading boring even if interesting things happen there was no point in making it a time skip, if so it was enough to make it last half]) and this thing continues in the 2nd nightmare but it's the opposite there, it's too fast and everything is quite useless in the end, it was only done because g3 made the masters and nephis. objectively too strong, so honestly What I think is that SS's problem is the inconsistency in the writing and the useless chapters like Rain's too current POV (I like Rain but it's too much) and also the fact that now everything is a bit too simple sunny is broken there are no more enemies like the arc of the antarctic or forgettonshor, he has lost that dark souls/bloodborne style that I loved (for those who don't know I mean the style of monsters that kill you for a very simple mistake and the fact of having to survive impossible challenges). but anyway incredible novel super recommended. (I tried to be as objective as possible but in the end it's a matter of taste, maybe someone likes it or doesn't notice these problems so it's up to you as the reader). (sunny is probably my favorite protagonist of the novels I've read)

Absolute masterpiece. Initially, I thought it was a rip off of 'The Novel's Extra'. I was way off my initial guess. This is by far the best novel that I read. I am also surprised by the fact that this was author's first Novel and what a great start it is. Highly recommend !!!

I will never let this novel fall, I will never allow that, even with my body and soul. Despite its flaws, I will keep it in my heart. Even if I forget it, I will remember the joy, entertainment, and excitement I experienced with this novel. Without it, my world feels dull and lifeless. It brings more vitality to my life, even if I fall into the abyss of darkness, even if I am destroyed, even if I am trapped at the beginning of everything. I will try to keep it in my heart. I will honor it so that others may remember this story. This is my goal and my struggle.😔

After Ch300+ this Novel became so much better, before... I liked it but I didn't feel like I need to read it everyday, but plottwist and crazy lore of this enitire book made me so invested...I prefer this Novel more that LOTM(Even tho its not better written than LOTM, I like this novel more) I have to say at first I didn't really liked Julien as a Main character. but oh man how wrong I was he is now one of my favorite. Also its been talked alot if this Novel is better than Author's POV and in my opinion Its wayyyyy better you can see how much and that's even an understaitment whole dialoges, lore,Main Characters, everything that APOV was good at AOTC does better, It doesn't even sometimes feel like its the same Author because of how fast and much he inproved If Anyone wondering if they should pick it up, I would say wait till this novel end's because you will suffer for having to wait for peak everyday
