Thank you. I understand this completely. This was my thought process. Creating a character and infusing them into the world is an extremely powerful ability, the most powerful in this world. The amount of Grace needed to that would be uncountable. It would immediately put him pass the Solar Rank. So, making it that he doesn't need Grace to create characters ultimately puts him on the Full Rank because the world thinks that whatever it is he can do, his Grace is too low for it to be anything meaningful. So he doesn't use Grace to perform the fundamental function of his power, that is the point. Ultimately though, I can't completely cut him off from the world's source of magic. To anchor his summons in the world, he needs Grace. This is beyond the rules of his system.
