It had taken hours of cutting their way through the forest to reach the bridge across that canyon. Nial found his energy flagging before the forest finally peeled back to reveal a long arc of a hanging-bridge. Glad he wasn't scared of heights, Nial had enjoyed walking along the swaying planks, holding the lines on either side, leaning over to stare down the massive drop to the churning river below.
