This is the first time I am writing a review on a book twice 😂. This book made me laugh it made me cry 😭😭😭 like real tears 😭😭 bawling my eyes out. I mean is it really worth it to lose everything for the sake of the world. I know it's impossible for me to do it. My father always tells me "uneasy lies the head that wears the crown" this book made me understand it 100%. Damn I know I can't do it.

This book is so good that one can't bear to drop it. I must say the character's development is top notch seeing each prince trying to maneuver each other is fun 😊 but the greatest player of them all is the emperor. I know for emperors the country comes first before they are fathers but this one takes it to the extreme damn it. Ten sons... I won't say much in order not to drop spoilers but damnnnn. I approve and recommend you won't regret it.

it's funny how these noble families keep underestimating the emperor. To them they know he's ruthless and intelligent but I still feel deep down they still underestimate him sigh 😔 it's their funeral. our favorite prince also underestimate his father 😂 I also have the feeling the emperor knows everything his children are doing 😂

prince Dai sounds naive and foolish. I have come to realize that sometimes honor, duty, guilt, ties people down than love. The emperor might not love the queen but he feels duty bound to her and the guilt is also killing him. just my pov
