The System's Hold Over Me

[Congratulations, you now have a system.] [Deploying Starter Pack.] [Two Perks Received.] "I can level up and I am probably the only one?" "Boy, sign me up! Who expected this kind of miracle in 2025?" Frizz, your average convenience store clerk, suddenly has a system. He is neither a genius nor a prodigy, but that won't stop him. He will still work hard, for the sake of leveling up. However, there are no monsters, no gates, no fantastical beings, and lastly no mystical equipment. It's just Frizz in his boring mundane reality and a system. To make things worse, He slowly realized that his system isn't all that benevolent. It makes one think, is Frizz using the System or is the System using Frizz?
