he's not my favorite character either but he had an amazing backstory and he did a better job than most people would when placed in the same scenario... he acted entirely practically with the cards he was dealt IMO and although it's sad it doesn't mean he should be hated on so much for by people who are so busy virtue signaling like they are so much better people, it's a character in a story which makes it easier to critique them but if you consider it from a real life perspective things would appear much more gray so they Kishimoto made a great character I'd say

this is a majorly stupid take fr... the dude was a child who lacked the power to stop everyone... his village and his family were guaranteed to go to war and as far as he knew his clan was destined to lose the war... he saved countless citizens from the village's lives that would have been given as the price for "victory" and saved his little brother who was entirely innocent but would have been slaughtered by the village for being an uchiha as seen when the mist had the kaguya clan rebel... he protected his little brother while also saving many pointless sacrifices and honoring shisui's sacrifice by preventing a war which would have made his death pointless and he even carried the tital of traitor and countless other atrocities while still being a deterrent to those(mostly Danzo) with untoward intentions towards his brother

terrible writing... Itachi ADORED Sasuke lol dude was a major brocon no way he'd think like this

how is nobody mentioning how the author conveniently left Naruto out of the entire interaction when Naruto should have arrived around when it started like in the original lmao dude's clearly on the path to stealing his future wife yet he somehow magically doesn't appear in the situation that made her first like him

not to mention we've only ever seen one person actually using tenseigan in any meaningful sense and it only lasted a few minutes so there's definitely no way to confirm whether any of the shown abilities were unique to the user and would be different in another pair(as far as I know)
