No pressure, I just want to make sure people are enjoying what I write. Besides, you do have a point. Most vague plans I have for the future have him being ‘there’ but not really contributing much. Just because he wants to fade into the background doesn’t mean he has to be so…inconsequential. If he’s going to be involved, he should be a bit more proactive. Thought still, I wouldn’t say he was useless. The episode as a whole, he did well in the middle and took out two of Animo’s creatures.

Scared because he was a normal guy now faced with giant monster animals. It’s his first time. I don’t know if I’d say useless, but I will admit he was sidelined in the last part of the episode. However, that’s kinda the point. This episode was his plan for Gwen to realize her powers and kick off the plot of the story (in this volume). He doesn’t plan to be the main one and build up the others. Still, I’ll take your critique and try to see about having him step up a bit more in future episodes…

Arthur continued to talk with Kim as she debated different things he could potentially do - ranging from scientist to just about everything else. He argued reasons - petty as they may be - why he would not want to do any of those things, but he did consider her words. A busty, loli angel with pink hair styled into two long twin-tails and a massive pair of pure white wings radiating light. She wore what looked like a magical girl cosplay. Her sleeveless pink top hugged her curvaceous figure and had a boob-window and a frilly white collar. The pleated, black and pink miniskirt was so short her pink panties were just barely visible when she moved. While I will incorporate Yu-Gi-Oh, it’s going to be a bit…different. More of a VRMMO/card game. Like the two fillar arcs featuring a virtual world in the original anime where the Big 5 are the antagonists I didn’t plan on Arthur/Ben playing a big role in that. Of course, I could change that.
