Maybe a legacy? 🙃 If Frank Zhang's able to inherit shape shifting as a legacy of Poseidon from who knows how many generations back it's not impossible for MC to to have inherited some things as a legacy of Kronos.

Excuse me. I mis clicked. That isn't their only goal as unbelievable it may sound to you two things can be true at once and they are narrating though inner monologues helping us the viewer to better understand their characters' thought process and psychology and see how they are geniuses that rival each other. Narration is very broad and in simple terms an explanation to what's happening in the story thus it can be done in any way by anyone in or outside the story whether that be through inner monologues between the main pro and antagonist or someone random such as a generic man with a deep voice narrating in a kids show like Curious George.

They aren't exactly just narrating either it's mores accurate to say they're narrating through inner monologues. You can tell because if they were narrating everything they would say inwardly would be unnatural as if they were speaking to the audience... you know like a narrator. I don't quite understand. Could you give an example of what makes it so bad? Because, as I'm aware and from my own experience what ruines stories is the lack of inner monologues as they tend to be the biggest indicators of their thought process and intelligence to better understand the character. That's why I love novels that tend to have the main characters pov or at least multiple pov's. And about the depression... How exactly is that a bad thing? As long as he genuinely has depression that makes sense it in no way ruins his character. It might be a bit generic but that's not a bad thing if it's done well. - With love ShaftofAntimatter 🙃

No he's still recuperating until the Senzu beans are finished growing and Mr. Brief (Bulma's father) is building the ship that has gravity training that allowed him to be strong enough to take on Ginyu.
