now he's controlled by the system if the system tells him bark he barks (of course all for the power) man and I hoped that by using his intelligence he would keep his original personality but looks like your gamer mind is like brainwashing

and I am gonna leave my prediction on whats gonna happen -mc has a person he knows or a friend get hurt -mc will put himself in dangers way to solve the problem the school is facing -mc is gonna overcome the problem -he will get rewarded of a title or skill of (thats how a king should think blah blah blah) -mc has a realisation that he is a king(because you went with the self rightous arthur pendegron) and he should protect people as a Knight should do -then he forgets about the person he used to be and becomes more and more like Arthur pendegron - I mean this is leading to an arc of mc not being himself and just enjoying his life as he moves in worlds and more like a person who wants to build a place where he belongs [prediction: mc is gonna get a skill that gives him a dimension that is linked to him (gonna probably be a replica of Britain in the Arthur pendgron age then gonna world hop and collect his citizens and knights to build a place where he belongs) ]

I know that's the best way to progress the story if you don't want it to be a wish fulfilment story, but can you lessen the self hate and guilt. like bro is thinking as if the victims are dead, no they are just petrified and now he is gonna go about the whole self discovery arc of [who i am and who i want to be] idk man maybe I read too many fanfics and novels so I can somewhat predict how things are gonna happen. and also all authors have inspiration from the popular books but this is the 20th fanfic that I read that has used the same arc
