Is the MC just a lazy POS or will there be character development?

The characters are extremely bland. The author had a good idea and concept but unfortunately lacked the writing skills to pull it off. The way the novel is structured is weird too like the bold words that separate the arcs, those should have just been chapter titles and the author should've expounded upon each arc and make them longer and more meaningful. It's not awful but it is horribly paced. I wonder is the author even tried to look a other fan-fics to get an idea of how to properly structure a novel.

It's a immature self-insert type story. That doesn't necessarily mean it's garbage but don't expect amazingly written characters and plots. It is good for just something casual to read through tho. I hope the author continues to get better if they're interested in doing this long term.

I find the inner dialogue of this novel so weird and excessive.

I find it hard to believe that Loki would actually act like this. She's generally a goofy character with few serious moments so this outburst is giving me whiplash.
