This novel tries its best to deny lots of characteristic of the genre. For example, the MC, beside having a weird fetish for older women, gets himself involved with several non-famous fictitious characters while making a point of snubbing most hot female celebs. Yeah, he has a non-celeb older women harem in a Hollywood novel, for real.
