I can’t anymore - not one redeemable character. Their bizarre choices and constant flip-flopping… Nothing makes sense. Even grandma isn’t likeable. If it hadn’t been free for 24 hrs I wouldn’t have gotten past the first couple of chapters, even though I have chores to do and want something free to listen to.
I read all the unlocked chapters and like it enough to wish it hadn’t ended with the “reveal” that was glaringly obvious. My only complaint is that the lovely poetic declarations were always stronger and more stirring than what happened in the chapter, but leads me to hope for more decisive action by the fl in future chapters. 👍🏼
Very good - a little slapstick in the beginning but I enjoyed all the available chapters!
I like the idea of exploring how a present and caring mother can help heal your inner child, and there are moments in the book I can get into, but the mc seems alternately naive and toxic. How is she barely interested in her daughter? Why would she give her son relationship advice only to play games for his attention? Sus. On a more positive note, I didn’t notice any glaring grammatical errors.
Very interesting storyline, good characters and I LOVE that the fl isn’t keeling over like a kitten the second the ml begins to grow. This part is really well done! However the rest of it, while I’m still curious, I find myself losing interest. I’m not a huge romance fan, I need more plot, but there seems to be too many side characters for me to keep track of and I’m zoning out with the way the author is “telling” rather than “showing” the parts about the main villains. Overall I have a good impression of the story and would like to continue reading but I’ll have to go back and re-read a lot for me to feel engaged in the background plot.
Likeable characters, there is drama but not betrayal amongst the MCs, relatively good pacing although I end up skipping a lot of chapters bc the the faceslapping is excessive. I’m genuinely curious about how things progress when they leave their current city and hoping their interconnections aren’t ‘too’ tropy, though tbh I have little hope. (I’ve read up to around ch 370) there are a lot of pronoun issues, especially for the FL (often calling her a chubby guy or boy, speaking of which waaaaay too much emphasis put on how chubby she is and overuse of the “b” word - it’s lost all effectiveness and is now irritating when they say it). Despite these things I’ll probably continue to check in when I have a few extra coins.
Ok, loved this angle on revenge! However, the two leads come across as very naive and the meeting with her father was sad. Her husband/partner is already withholding info for dramatic effect rather than giving her a heads-up so she knows what she’s walking into. Also, why doesn’t she already know who his second family is?! She’s willing to get married for this revenge but not to do any research? I think I was expecting intelligent plans laid out that would unfold as we go but it feels more like a messy tantrum. I’m out now but I hope it gets better for you all! Great concept, Author!
It’s a cute story that I enjoyed reading. The writing is a tad ham-fisted with all the declarations of intent - and the flow of the mini storylines seem to be missing something between the build-up and resolution phases, but overall a fun little read. I’m not a fan of stories that spend a lot of time with the MC adult trapped in a child’s body and so will not continue to read after ch 40 but the author has some great bones here!
It’s sounding familiar but seems like it’ll be fun! Reminds me of the many versions of Flower Boys or T4 or something, only the FL will get to have them all instead of just the one, also werewolves. Again, predictable but comfy.
I like the story, characters etc things are generally happening at a good pace - my only real complaint is that I’m 200+ chapters in and the main protagonist cohort are still preadolescent. I can no longer suspend disbelief even if they’re all mature. Instead of enjoying the story I find myself trying to get into the head of someone who enjoys pretending children are adults or that it’s not gross that they’re all attracted to an 8yr old girl and asking her to solve their problems. 🤷🏻♀️ What’s the point? Why would you write mature themes for children? Is the author uncomfortable writing romance and so you skirt it by making them too young? Not my cup of tea. I’d much prefer the crushes be left out entirely than imagine a couple of 8yr olds promising heartfelt devotion.
