One of the better novels of this genre. No racism, the mc is independent and looks out for himself instead being a government lapdog, and the power system is clear and comprehensible. The fight scenes are well written. Some people may have problems with the characters being too violent, instantly targeting the mc to kill him at the slightest offense, but when you think about the setting and the lack of laws regarding murder and combat among martial artists, you realize that such extreme measures are actually a necessary means of survival in the dog-eat-dog world. Over all high quality highly recommend, 4.8 star rating
