The book has a good potential, but plot turns too light. In fact, there's barely any plot. Author was intentionally dragging scenes for far too long. (Like in ch 90 or 91 where Ophelia just stared at him for the whole chapter or ch 136-137 where all that happen is talk about the Alison's bad cooking.) The author really does one step per chapter. In short, there's barely any content per chapter. Imagine paying for 1k-1.5k words chapter just to read a chapter where Oliver takes one step, repeatedly explain stuff in slightly different wording, and the rest are just over explaining monologue that doesn't even add to the story/plot at all. Although I only read up to 140ish chapter, beside it being a paid chapter, I don't feel like reading something like this was worth the time at all. I suggest stop dragging the story, stop over explaining stuff (you're cheating the word count), and reduce the irrelevant scene/monologue (again, you're cheating the word count and is making the book BORING.)
The ability doesn't work like that...
I can't stand the nonsense this novel can provide. Too many forced plot in the very early chapters. I'm not willing to swallow any more of this unless someone WHO ACTUALLY READ this give me enough reason. I read up to ch 204, it's just not worth it even if it was free. (Not for me) Writing quality: 2/5. It was AI. Updating stab: 5/5. Story development: 1. (Will there be any?) Character design: 1. I mean...? World background: 1. -Forced relationship, forced plot, forced encounter. -Orphan, no parents (very convenient for author) -Very lucky MC (basically plot armor, mc is poor but the plot will spoonfed him) -Author was hard stuck on inciting incident (mc stumbled upon something, mc received a quest BY PURE CHANCES). No hardships, no climax. HARD TO CALL IT A NOVEL. It's like a book written by a kid. -The conversation between the characters is just AWKWARD. Hope for the author to touch some grass and learn how conversations flows without it being awkward. -the story is too childish. (If there's any) If you're 6-10 y/o, maybe you'll find reading this book enjoyable. -There's a bunch of irrelevant(trash) chapters (this is a paid chapters). -at most, only 1/3 of the whole chapter would matter. The rest are just a bunch of gibberish, monologues, and narration that basically says the same thing. In 100 chapters, only around 30-40 ch has any relevant information in it, the rest is just... fillers. -I've never felt as cringey before reading this novel. Author's trying so hard to make his work like a JP novel and Wuxia novel at the same time. (I thought I was watching Yu-Gi-Oh whenever there's a fighting scene. And reading a wuxia novel when he's in a crowded place.) -Wuxia character development cliche where every side character will be suspicious or skeptical about him (even make a ruckus over the very simple things.) Author wants to make Leon aka Broken to be someone who's undervalued. It's fine, sometimes even good to have cliches but he's not good at delivering it. (Wouldn't be surprised if they get mad at him over a candy.) -"Feeling the unusual gaze of the people around him. It was a feeling he had experienced before when people looked at him, but back then it was with disgust." Leon thinks the world revolves around him when most likely they don't even know him. -I think it's because of where author live (in most country laughs was typed like: HAHAHA. Wkwkwk (Indo). 5555 (Thai). Jajaja (Spanish).) In special cases or just character traits their laugh can be: kekeke, kukuku, fufufu, hohoho, hehehe~, etc. It's my first time reading a novel where they'd laugh khi khi khi. Now, I understand that this is a webnovel. But this is just nuts.
Forced. Nothing is making sense... Is it worthy to continue reading or just up to free chapters?
You're still playing? I just got back into the game a week ago to check things out 😂
