The cloning ability was intended as one of Lady’s exclusive magic, his power does split in ratio to how many clones he has. Lady herself acts like a prism, in order to maintain the clones she has to split with them making her go into a suspended state. The Lich is also split with Finn, but because his power was still weak he could not take over any of the other clones. Finn will use ice powers, but I will try for more variety in future chapters. He obtained those powers from the crown, which I mentioned in Lost in Languages. The reason Ice Finn never took over before, was due to the Lich suppressing that personality, since the Lich focused on Violet, Orange was left with all of the crazy. In Adventure Time even without his crown on Ice King still remained mad, so Finn is still technically mad as well. I hope I was able to answer some of your questions, thanks for reading.

To be honest I forgot all about Owlbert after the scene change. Lady is older than Finn, her horn can be repaired. The reason it was rushed at the end was because I wasn’t that into the episode, it was nice but I felt it was a little dull.
