I can only say that I really dislike 2 things about this novel but they sort of build off each other. The MC is just…annoyingly arrogant. It makes everything besides the small moments between his loved ones incredibly annoying to read.

Don’t fucking say “we readers love that” F off with the stupid misinformation trope. I like common sense and being able to speak about things. Not being a 20iq mute with the emotional range of a rock.

It’s genuinely embarrassing that you believe that the description “18 year old virgin” is supposed to be negative. The reason you think it’s stupid to tell people is that the genre is incredibly obsessed with backstabbing and betrayal, but that’s not always the case.

This author is very famous on Webnovel for making S*xual assault novels. Whether it be for “punishment” to a slave, or a person he believes is beneath him. Every novel by this author contains this as a feature.

It’s a novel where the betrayal never really stops. It just keeeeeps on getting worse and worse. Don’t know where the revenge even comes into play, but the entire world of this place isn’t worth living in. Slavery and r*pe normalized in both the real world and the abyss.
