Showing his growth rate and potential is more than enough for the MC to build his foundation and gain enough backing to fend off hostile party.

It's best to just ignore the specifics and adapt to how the author wants it to enjoy this work. 😂 Otherwise, it's just better to drop it and move on to another work. Personally, I'm still willing to give it more chance since this book has a pretty high ranking.
