I get you want to portray a dark world. I think it would be better if you changed it to like she was s*xually assaulted in the previous timeline. She was not s*xually assaulted at first. It started with bullying, but in her 5th / 6th / 7th year, it turned into s*xual assault. So, this hasn't yet happened in this timeline and Harry can save her.
