After finally calming down from my earlier excitement due to my 'exercising' I started to feel pain all over my body. When I looked down at my arms and body I realized the pain was from various-sized cuts all over my body making me look like I had barely survived some type of desperate battle with someone. Strangely, I knew it was totally dark, there was no light entering the underground burrow I'd hatched in, but I could see clearly. The walls were a cool blue, contrasting the warm red bodies of keelish spotting the ground, and gradients between them.
