I already write stuff and interact on spacebattles and QQ when I need more.....intellectual stimulation. I just started translating this because it was rare to see a chinese fic of this quality and I wanted to get it out there.

It's the same name, Make Don Quixote Great Again, I put it in the synopsis of the fic

I'm pretty sure I corrected all tites and proper nouns that the mtl got wrong, the author calls Rayleigh 'Pluton', I changed it to 'Dark King', and so on, and I definitely made it more readable and removed any major grammar mistakes, if I missed anything that you would like me to correct, please specify and I'll try to improve on that.

He means 'rare' in terms of the ability of the fruit, like Op-Op fruit can give immortality so it's ultra-rare and hard to get (because everyone wants it), but the Bomu-Bomu fruit has a relatively normal ability, there's others like the puncture fruit or the pop fruit that are similar. So people would be willing to sell it for maybe 200-300 million instead of 5 billion like the Op-Op.

I think you might be misunderstanding what I mean by the will of a conqueror. Will isn't whats required to actually awaken Conqueror's Haki - that only requires ambition and charisma, both of which even the canon Doflamingo had. The will of a conqueror is more of an unyielding confidence that you will succeed beyond all odds, an unshakeable dream. The original Doflamingo never had a grand dream, he was content to watch the tide of the times and be the middleman. He had Conqueror's Haki but not the will of a conqueror. This new Doflamingo has the will - he wants to go even beyond pirate king, and be king of the world, standing above even the world government. He needed an event to sublimate this will, and to reach an even higher form as a conqueror, the level that Luffy, Kaido and the others are at, and the original Doflamingo never achieved. This, being faced with the might of the heroes of the sea that he would need to defeat, served as exactly that, and I think the author of the fic did that pretty well. Maybe I'm reading too much into it because I'm too invested in the story, but that's what I see it as.

Really? These were some of my favorite chapters in the novel. The moment where Doflamingo lets go of his inhibitions and realizes the will required to be a conqueror rasied goosebumps for me. Perhaps I've made the chapters lose some of their meaning in an attempt to pursue better grammar. I'll try to work on that.

They do have huge genetic advantages, but you can't deny the sheer monstrous talent they have. They've mastered techniques like emission, advanced observation haki, and even conqueror's entanglement, and created special moves like Thunder Bagua.

Self-review, I've read this fanfiction to the end and can confidently say it's one of the best One Piece storylines out there. The mtl has a lot of errors though, so I've taken it upon myself to make it more readable for everyone else :) Please consider giving powerstones if you liked my translation.
