I don’t remember the context of what I wrote. However, for me personally, most novels are cliche. Well, became cliche. Including what you said. Fewer novels are become unique, whether English or Chinese. I hope this clarifies a tiny bit of my current thoughts.

The novel itself is quite good, but the translation quality not so much. The translation quality over time slowly worsen. At first, it a tiny few pronoun errors slowly having more pronoun erros in later chapters. Quite a pity indeed.

I really like this chapter. A very well done chapter in my opinion. Love it!

I agree with you a bit. I have only read a couple of chapters so I can't say much. However, from the parts I have read, the novel seems quite interesting. The translation quality, though, takes a lot of points off. It doesn't flow well, causing it to be a bit rough when reading. I would like to continue reading it, but from the couple of chapters I have read, I just can't see myself continuing.

This chapter is basically a summary of his 5 years in this world. Also a lot of info dump.

I think his actual lifespan was like 100 or so years.
