it’s basic, but i’ve never seen a fic get far enough so mara sov would be cool, albeit a little odd

i guess i can see what you’re talking about but here’ s a couple things. a reason we don’t know much about the character is that the narration is in their head. you don’t necessarily go around thinking about your entire life all the time also, i’m not sure what you mean by the way he’s shot at being described like someone making breakfast, but i doubt a hitman, let alone one in direct combat, would take time to think about the bullets in depth. His life is on the line, the descriptions of what’s coming towards him at speeds he can’t see obviously aren’t going to be detailed again, this is just to be just to the author, i think a one star review is super harsh

I still think a one star is insanely harsh

i think you’re confused with “can’t communicate well” and “can’ t communicate at all” the MC has zero ability. He can’t talk to fallen since they 1. don’t share the same language, and 2. are extremely hostile to one another he can’t communicate with guardians due to the same reason. You saw how even hive chosen by the traveler and can communicate were treated, let alone those not chosen and who can’t also, it’s also pretty clear that it’s in destiny. from his birth it was clear that he was a thrall. And even before it was told he was fighting fallen you could have understood that he’s fighting, when he leaves the cave he finds himself right where the actual game starts. don’t leave a one star review on a novel just due to the reasons that you couldn’t figure out he was in destiny and the author doesn’t force communication into the story.

did you read past chapter 1? i think it’s pretty obvious that it’s in the destiny world plus, this is a story about a thrall, of course there isn’t going to be dialogue since they can’t speak

This seems promising. Not many books about destiny follow through, plus this one’s about hive, you don’t see those very often

Pretty much summed it up right there, Ria’s powerscaling will share the lore and disregard it at the same time. Guardians have the potential to be way stronger, as we can see with THE guardian (the main character of the series) who has beaten several gods, and lore wise did it themself. Ria is technically the main character of the series, she’s just a little bit more proficient with wielding light, which is technically in lore too. Adept users of the light arent bound by “cooldowns” or stuff like that. Adept users can use their golden gun whenever they want, can shape light in different ways, and other stuff like that. Ria will definitely be overpowered but as of now she’s definitely going to have a rough fight.
