Yeah, no. Fascination with research into topic and quality of writing has nothing to do with sick enjoyment or approval
That would be a rather brainless argument...
That's what you get by using LLMs brainlessly
Yes they aren't *bombastic*, they are LLM generated. You can tell by overuse of less commonly seen and used words, similar sentence structure (less pronounced here because I assume original is just a very good source), usage of passive voice when normally anyone would use active and vice-versa, extensive and unnatural usage of infinitives and vice versa, usage of verbal nouns instead of verbs, overuse of adverbs and adjectives, multitude of uncommon forms of words (using an adjective/adverb/noun form of a word with verb root or some similar transformation). As a result this entire chapter is like an obfuscated version of itself. For this quality of translation the whole stuff should be fired with "why would we need you if we can stuff original in LLM ourselves?" as a motivation.
That's because translators became lazy a dozen chapters or so ago and now probably use some LLM. It's infuriating.
"If he can bring people" "If he can bring cultivation system". That's exactly the problem. While reading this arc you don't know (and is actually inclined to believe that he wouldn't be able since that is a mission world). This breaks immersion, leaves you with a lot of questions about soundness of that whole story if he actually can and irritates you since there were a lot of promising arcs left behind. All that with very repetitive and LLMish descriptions is what it makes it really bad. Along with other things
You completely missed the point. All the stuff about elements is exactly the same on repeat and it definitely doesn't feel "huge" as you put it. Author never mentioned that "having an actual master is important" - that is your deduction, nowhere in text it is explicitly mentioned and neither does description of all the learning process differ in a meaningful and impactful way. "Aura became calm" does not explain fundamental change in characters behavior. Especially not towards more boring and stiff direction. "Taught to take people away". Not really and it does not really matter. And more importantly it does not pardon the rest of problems with this arc (See my list in the comment + someone left a comment on some earlier chapter listing even more) Sorry if I spelled your points as not exact quotes - hate wn app on the phone...
That's usually. In this story it is at best ambiguous and left to the imagination
