Also, here is a bit of an analysis/insight on the current situation🤔: Hoku currently has a significant advantage. His compass has temporarily granted him the effects of a divination known as The Willow (also called The High Priestess), which is another power system that will be explored in greater depth in future arcs.  This ability allows him to instinctively perceive hidden intentions, uncovering strategies. Essentially, he can connect patterns as they unfold to accumulate greater insight at a much sharper pace. What is intentionally hidden from him or is only meant to be revealed in the future becomes clear to him in the present. However, this heightened perception comes at a cost: Hoku’s mind is overwhelmed by a flood of information, making it difficult to process everything at once. If he fails to fill in the gaps quickly enough, he risks losing focus on his physical actions, which could leave him vulnerable in combat. This is why there has been a lot more inner monologue; his thoughts are working overtime to keep up with everything he perceives. At the same time, the “stars” are enhancing his mental strength. This is why he’s starting to feel fear again (his heart racing); most of it had been stolen by Li during their battle. As his mind is restored, so are the emotions he had been numb to. Hoku’s greatest weakness isn’t his ability to control his movements, but rather his inability to trust his own capabilities beyond analyzing his opponent. Instead of focusing on what he can do in a fight, he lets what he knows about his opponent’s strength hold him back. This is why, when Juno had him restrained underwater, he only started to fight back after touching the foundation and feeling the “star” react. That small confirmation gave him the instinct to struggle against the vines, rather than resigning himself to helplessness.*

Yu-ze’s birthday is on February 24th! However, since time is trapped in one instant within that epoch, the day is always February 24th and never changes. Although it’s technically his birthday, the year is fixed in the mid-1950s (a time before he was born.) So, it’s not actually his actual birthday, but more of a time distortion🙏🏻
