i don't understand why everyone hates her, she is literally a slave that has to serve the people that killed her family, torture her and put a kill device on her body. Her hatred towards everyone is more than justified and i hope she gets her revenge on MC's family.
She didn't know it yet, but she was already dancing in the palm of my hand. Before long, it would be too late for her to escape, and I'd be able to kill two birds with one stone.

Pretty good; I like the MC though process and skill. The only downside is that sometimes it takes days for the author to publish new chapters. Also, I am not yet convinced of the "actual" MC's (Michael) progress; I get that he is the MC, but his OPness feels very forced.

His reasoning was grounded in the riddle's description. Darkness does not exist as a physical entity that can be touched or held; it is the absence of light, a concept rather than a tangible object. It is everywhere when light is not present, enveloping everything in its intangible shroud. One can feel its presence through the absence of light, yet it cannot be physically interacted with. It fit the riddle perfectly.

Ability Definition: You can enter your Shadow Camp to become intangible. Once inside the camp, you gain two perks: A clear view of your surroundings with no blind spots, and the ability to designate another shadow as your camp with just a thought. Once a new camp has been assigned, the previous camp will vanish in three seconds. Before it vanishes, you can jump between camps. Every jump consumes soul power, with the cost per jump being 50 units. You can deactivate the ability at any time to step out of the camp. If there are two camps when you deactivate the ability, you will step out of the camp you were in at the time of the deactivation.
