Author’s review: A Demon’s Diary promises a story of a demon and his friend, out for blood in a world of fire and brimstone. You will get this story, and hopefully more. I am not a stable author, mentally or otherwise. update speeds vary, and you may find I take a while to publish anything. Maybe I will raise this score when I feel I myself am worthy of being so cocky that I, my own biggest critic, give myself 5 stars. Signed ~ Your author, Lucy.
Late reply, but I wish. Motivation has run dry. I intend to continue writing at some point, but not now unfortunately.
The premise is wacky, the writing is mediocre, and there is no immersion to be had, but it’s a silly good time if you want to just enjoy the spectacle. Don’t expect something good, and you’ll be in for an alright ride.
This is a stupid interlude chapter, and one I will probably look back upon with embarrassment. This does not count within the normal upload schedule, so you can expect another chapter sometime tomorrow
The entire concept of a demon army is based around training the dumber demons like dogs and the smarter ones with fear
This does not follow the direct mythology of the Bible, which readers will see as the novel progresses. There was no Eve, only Adam and one other person who shall not be named at this time. Adam is not a person, he’s not human, but rather something/someone higher than heaven itself.
I’m also a huge idiot who doesn’t know how to spell, apparently.
It is not fanfic, and I don’t see where you would’v gotten that impression? The characters in the story, especially later on, do borrow the names of theological demons, such as Paimon, or Gusion, yet are unrelated to any other properties which may use those names. The worlds, although not wholly original, are not directly based on any preexisting propert either.
The whole process of writing this was to build up length. Over time, as my own interest and skill increases, chapters will hopefully get longer. They do release very frequently, which I hope counterbalances the short chapters.
