That’s a really fair point, and I can definitely see why the time difference would stand out. The time dilation is something I’ve thought about quite a bit because it creates some interesting possibilities, but I also understand the concern about how extreme the difference becomes when you calculate it out. Perhaps for a person who is not suffering from depression this would seem so. However, for a person who has depression, it doesn't work that way. It's like you're in a dark room, and you see the light bulb, you know where the light switch is, you know how to turn it on, and you know the switch works. But no matter how much you tell yourself you know all the steps to turn on the light, you can't do it. You can reach your hand to the switch and try to turn it on but the switch won't move to turn on. Leaving you in eternal darkness.
