Well, after that little intro scuffle, Lydia's officially been disowned. That's a shame. Though now I imagine it might actually be a bit more freeing for her to do what she needs to without the Blackwell name tying her down to save Jess, possibly? Also we seem to be bringing the plot back to our protag Jack, investigating another missing girl while a witch with a bush- I MEAN, a bush that's a witch gives off the hint that vampires are behind this one too.
Jack of All Trades serves as the world's best British Deadpool in literary form. The intro gives me the impression of what you might witness if you could watch what was happening in the lives of DnD NPCs. Also, I'd probably cry blood from my eyes too if I was being haunted by a "polkageist" (best pun ever, by the way). Beautiful blend of fantasy, comedy, and 4th-wall-shattering, all twisted on its face. Now I HAVE to read the rest. xD
