he at great risk to himself invited her on a mission outside the village to try and spare her. when he couldn't get her out,he started planning a heist to take place on the same night because if he didn't focus on something he was used to sacrificing everything for (strength and self improvement ) he genuinely believed he would snap and die trying to save her. whens's the last time he even looked at any of the shit that he stole? there's no way he actually thought he'd get to use those sharingans. they were a side quest, a way to assert more control of a situation he had no control over. as for what the other guy said about grudges...he isn't fieding after Itachi for many reasons like it'd be an instant death, Itachi is a dead man walking, living with what he's done is a worse punishment than death could ever be, and that Sasuke NEEDS the EMS,or they all die in the 4th Shinobi war. revenge against Obito? hes already on the kill list ,and won't pop up unless he wants to be seen, hell, fujin HAS killed his ass danzo however? danzo was both guilty AND within reach, and Fujin NEUTERED him politically. i can't do enough mental gymnastics to think that fujin seriously didn't care,or doesn't hold a grudge . he just refuses to admit to himself or act stupid about it.
