Kiba was absolutely setting himself up for a beating when he mocked Oscar in front of Naruto, especially since Naruto had literally just buried Oscar a few hours earlier. On the other hand, Kiba didn’t actually know the gravity of the situation—he was just trying to provoke Naruto like he usually does. I included this moment to illustrate that Naruto is gradually healing from Oscar’s death and maturing as a result. His restraint in the face of the undead merchant's taunts reflects that growth. But that doesn't mean Naruto isn't going to be petty about it.
Reinforced Club
Repair Powder: Lightly enchanted golden powder. Repairs weapon equipped in right hand. Use of a weapon depletes its durability, eventually rendering it ineffective. Repair Powder is a precious method of repair on the battlefield, as it obviates the need for a Repairbox.
Orange Guidance Soapstone: In game it's an online item. Write/view/rate message. Messages transmit to other worlds, where they are rated. Also, rate messages of others. In Lordran, the flow of time is distorted, and messages allow Undead to assist (or deceive) one another. In this fanfic if Naruto purchased this item he can view messages left behind by other undead or npcs.

I’d love to read your fanfic, whether it’s Pokemon or Harry Potter. Honestly, they both sound like fantastic ideas, and I’m sure you’ll bring your own unique twist to them. And hey, if you ever need help—whether it’s figuring out how to approach something in the narrative, world-building tips, or even just someone to bounce ideas off of—I’m always here. Seriously, don’t hesitate to reach out. Writing can feel overwhelming sometimes, but having someone to chat with can make all the difference. Good luck with your exams and college—once those are out of the way, I can’t wait to see what you create! You’ve got this.
Even without it being self-promotion, it’s actually true. Chosen Undead is what I’m currently reading and writing. And also, congratulations on starting your own fanfic! That’s a big step, so kudos to you. My recommendation to you is to start by planning your beginning and end. Write out what your main character is like at the start—make a list of their traits, like if they’re smart, funny, or stubborn. Then do the same for the end of the story. Essentially, you’re creating a map for yourself so you can track their growth and have a clear destination in mind. Next, reread the source material—whether it’s the manga, anime, game, or whatever inspired your fanfic. Get yourself into the mindset of the original story and its world. Pay attention to the characters, the setting, the tone, and the logic of the world. Then start asking yourself questions: What would my character do in this situation? How would they react to this challenge? What changes if my character is part of this world? Those questions will lead to ideas, and once you have a few, you’re ready to dive in. When it comes to writing, don’t be afraid to start. You’re not going to be perfect in the beginning—I know I wasn’t. But the more you write, the better you’ll get. Consistency and practice are your best tools. Even if it feels rough at first, you’ll learn your style and voice over time. A few more tips: — Outlining Helps: Even if you don’t outline the whole story, jot down the major beats or arcs you want to include. This helps you avoid getting stuck. — Character Voice: Pay attention to how your characters talk and act. If it’s based on an existing work, make sure their personality feels consistent. If it’s an original character, keep their behavior believable within the world you’re writing. — Feedback Is Your Friend: Don’t be afraid to share your work with others. Readers can help you see what’s working and what’s not. — Don’t Compare Yourself: It’s easy to look at other fanfics and think yours doesn’t measure up, but remember—you’re learning. Everyone starts somewhere, and your journey is your own. — Enjoy It: Write what you enjoy, and don’t stress too much about perfection. If you’re having fun, it’ll show in your writing, and your readers will feel it too. So, just start writing! The most important thing is to take that first step, and everything else will fall into place. Good luck—I’m sure your story will turn out amazing.
